There is nothing here to prevent the multicolored stream to bend around the tower unless some of the guests decide to attack the flying object at random of course but I'm pretty sure they aren't.
Syela frowns a little. Oh well. What was she expecting? The feychild simply goes back to poking at the remains of her meal, by which I mean devouring them.
The sorceress sits down at a stone bench as she's done working in the greenhouse. The trees were coming along nicely and it was a sunny day outside so for once she didn't want to stay indoors. It was getting time to check on Cora and Bastion though, they were probably getting hungry...
Suddenly, the relative tranquility of the garden is broken like that pane of glass in the ceiling that just broke because something fell through it. Landing not to far from where Cessie is, a six-inch-tall shapely woman with the lower half of a spider lays. After a moment, she gets up. There are a few pops as bones are put into place, (and if Cessie is attentive she will see some gashes healing) and the Grig brushes herself off.
"Okay, getting gravity to do your dirty work was pretty creative." She sighs, and then notices Cessie. "Hiyah!"
The sorceress looks up, staring at the new arrival. A fey? Oh dear, this might be memorable. "Hello." Cessie says gently. "Would you be so kind to repair that window? Because otherwise I will have to." Or more likely, ask her husband to do it for her.
The sorceress sigh inwardly. It was one of those fey wasn't it? Now that she mention it she recalled how she had to eat an apple because of some fey had dared to change her husband.
"...you're the one that decided to have a bit of 'fun' with him aren't you?" The mage asks.
"Ooh, my reputation precedes me! That's always nice. I wish whatshisface was here to see this. He was useful! For breaking into your place and giving the color back. I could have done it myself, but he made it extra easy, and we didn't even leave any evidence."
Vriveka looks Cessie up and down... up and down. It's creepy.
The mage steels herself from anything this fey might cause, better create a ward just in case. "I think you should leave now." She tells the Grig with a cold stare, her hospitality only extended this far.
"Hey, if I don't, what are you going to do to me? Will you get creative? I always encourage creativity." She claps her hands together suddenly. "HEY, that's an idea! When one of us gets creative, I'll leave! This should only take, like five minutes."
"Ooh, give me a list of limitations! That's always fun."
"I'm sorry, but I need to check on my children now. You can play your game with Garn if you want, he should be coming to escort you out." The sorceress replies as she get up from her seat, the gargoyle already on his way.
"Is he good enough to escort me out of your body?"
As she says that, she leaps toward Cessie, trying to enter her body. Oddly, this won't have any detrimental effect. Cessie should be able to feel Vriveka inside her, but it won't mess with her functions in any way.
While Vriveka can force her way through Cessie's ward, it will take a moment, giving Cessie an extra moment to react.
Cessie had had more than enough of this, as the grig attempts to force her through her wards the sorceress focuses all her energy to push the Grig down on the floor and then hold on to her. It will be like a gigantic hand was just laid upon her and then grappling her. It can easily be dodged however for a being of her size but considering she's stuck at one place for a moment while going through the ward it might still hit.
Turning around to look closer at what just happened she suddenly become worried she just killed the poor little thing. Another part suggests she probably is going to regenerate any minute now however and that she should leave while she still have the chance.
Thought considering it turned in mid-air the second alternative seems more likely.
Meanwhile Garn comes around the corner and looks curiously at his mistress. "Hmm... Garn, take care of that substance, place it in one of the vials over there." She asks, pointing out one of the various glass containers she had within the greenhouse.
By her orders the gargoyle will attempt to swoop up the goo with his claws and place it in the vial while the sorceress keeps an good distance away.
When Garn tries to pick it up, the goo giggles. It runs out of his hand, partially like water and partially like it has a purpose. It becomes transparent, trying to become invisible and disappear between any cracks in the flagstones or tiles or what not.
Once that is done, Vriveka will try to follow Cessie, keeping to the cracks. She can wait.
Despite it running between his claws, Garn still attempts to find the now invisible substance by peering between the tiles and try to poke it out without much success.
The mage observes this with an frown. "Garn, keep an watch over me, going to check on the babies." She orders the gargoyle as she heads for the door, going to close it behind her once she enters the keep. Garn following her like a lost puppy.
Need to be smart. Need to be canny. Need to be sneaky. Need to get to her without fakey mc muscles (how Psycho sees most golems) getting in the way... or hurting her.
Hmm... here's an idea. The children...
Despite what that line of thought might bring you to think, Cessie will be able to tend to the children without any risk to her or them. Psycho, however, will be close...
Specifically, she tries to catch a ride on Garn. Like putting an invisible howdah on the lost puppy. She avoids the joints, so that she can go without being detected as long as possible.
The grig won't have any problem doing that, the gargoyle appears completely clueless of her presence.
The sorceress heads to the children's room and peaks inside the room, just to make sure the two are safe. Garn is straight behind her as she looks inside the room.
Bastion is curled up and doing his signature "Harumph" as he plays with some stuffed animals, looking rather grumpy despite the joyous things in his little hands. Cora, on the other hand, is still asleep, but chances are, Bastion is probably going to wake her up when he realizes he's going to be fed.

Well, Cessie isn't actually planning to fed them yet. She first want to deal with this fey invading her home and it feels like that haven't settled down just yet.
After making sure the two are safe she closes the door again and looks at Garn. "Keep an watch at the children Garn, I'll be back soon." She orders the gargoyle and will then head for her lab unless something happens.
Vriveka will slide off of Garn, following Cessie. Keeping to the cracks between the flagstones, following her stealthily.
Those that know her would be surprised at the patience she's showing. Those who know her well can guess (correctly) that right now she's deciding what to warp...
Taking up her key, the sorceress unlocks the door to the lab and then heads inside, closing the door behind her. Assuming Vriveka manages to get in before she does, the Grig will find herself in a dark laboratory. The only window have been sealed shut with planks and there are a number of cabinets filled with books, vials and other equipment.
Cessie only seem to have one thing in mind though as she enters and that is a glass container holding some sort of gas with a form of light bulb mounted on top . This is an Neveth, a material which only exist within the elemental realms as the spirits never could use it as they shaped her world.
Neveth as a non-terrestrial material must be kept in the world by aether which in this case comes from the bodies of a number of people who ended up at the Riverside morgue for various reasons.
Neveth is normally not seen by the naked eye but is visible enough for the spirits it's used to ward against. It's for example the energy used to fuel Cessie's spirit wards. This particular neveth is however is used for another reason though, as it reacts in a special way when in contact with spirits this contraption have been designed to use this as a way to detect them.
If the Grig indeed reacts the same way as the spirits of Cessie's world does, the light bulb should lit up once she's nearby.
The lightbulb will light up as a nigh-invisible slime tries to wrap itself around Cessie's leg, and enter her body. Once again, any ward will take a moment to get through... but the liquid nature of the attacker will make stopping her much more difficult.
The mage's eyes widen as she see the light-bulb, she suspected this but now it appears to be to late. "Let! Go! You! Freak!" She shouts at her leg as she uselessly attempts to shake the Grig slime off, summoning more Neveth to help her. It won't be any use once Viveka is inside her body though considering Neveth is rather poisonous to the very consciousness to the human being.
So if Viveka manages to withstand the energy the sorceress summons she should be able to enter her.
Once Vriveka is past the ward and has skin contact, nothing much more can be done. She enters the body, and re-forms into her natural state. Now Cessie should be able to feel her crawling around inside her...
You have nice children! It'd be a pity if anything were to happen to them.
