Bastion and Cora, upon seeing tears for the first time, decide to trey and catch them. Getting their hands wet is likely the only reward for their efforts though. of course, both are still laughing and having a grand old time.
"Zelia?" Harnel says, moving a bit closer, "Is something wrong?"

The nymph turns to Harnel and blinks, seemingly first now noticing the tears and attempts to quickly wipe them away. "No, no... I'm just reminded by my own child I guess. Ever since I held her in my arms children have been a dream of mine. It was just such a long time since I were able to do this." She says before turning to Harnel, smiling brightly, her eyes seemingly shimmer with tears. "You're very lucky you know?"
"Yeah, we should. We could at least help check on the babies if they're having trouble." Syela says. She may or may not want to use this as an excuse to see what's going on upstairs in general.
Kirin should be in the children's room by the time Syela says that. No, really. In her current state, she is faster than she has any right to be (she already is very fast, even without the fairy energy) and physics around her is kind of fuzzy as long as she doesn't think about it.
The end result is Kirin wall running up the spiral staircase. All the way to the babies' room! Where she will shush them and rock them and let them know everything is okay and ask them to please stop crying because they're hurting her ears...
Harnel is quiet for a moment as he watches the children play with Zelia further, but then he says, "Thank you. Is there something stopping you from having another child of your own?"

The Catgirl maid is going to have a little trouble there, as Bastion, in all his grumpiness, won't calm down. which, of course, keeps Cora from calming down. Maybe he needs something to soothe him?

Zelia looks down at the toddlers again and then dangles her finger out for them to grab. "There were winter fey who didn't like the idea of a fey having children with a mortal. So when they found out about it, they decided to punish me and remove my ability to ever carry a child again. No matter how much I wanted it." She explains to the half-dragon in a neutral tone. "They took that aspect of me and locked it within their own realm, never to be seen again." She states in a somber tone, while continuing playing with the twins as if nothing had happened. "It's okay though, I have my grand children to cuddle with now."
Harnel frowns, "and what exactly is stopping me from going in and getting it back?"
This... sounds familiar. not the request itself, but doing something. Going on an adventure. There's a goal, a thing to bring back, and a quest giver. All these things Harnel is used to even if the venue has changed. And it wasn't until he felt that familiarity that he realized how much has changed, and how much he misses that. There was always purpose to his life then, and while there was certainly purpose to be found in raising his family to be good and strong, He can't help but miss the action.

The nymph shakes her head. "Harnel, you can't. I need to care about the younger generation now and Cessie and these kids are a part of that. If I had their father endangered I know I couldn't forgive myself. I lived long enough without it anyway and I now have a lot of lovely grand-children to comfort myself with anyway. It's okay." She ensures him and attempts to change the subject while continuing playing with Cora and Bastion. "Do you think they're still part nymph?"
In the back of his mind, Harnel is wondering how he might approach the problem. the most obvious answer was to get a favor from a mage and get whomever it was to send him into the realm of the winter fey, whatever that meant, as close as possible to the stolen essence. Then he'd take it and get out as soon as possible.
"That's a part of their heritage, Zelia. Cessie's part nymph, and thus so are these two. Feytouched, as it were."

"But it's so weak now..." She says with a look at the twins. "I know Cessie never really appreciated her heritage after all. Nor did the others really. Maybe it's for the best. You can't really see it on Cessie's generation anyway." She observes.
Harnel smiles, "You should be here for one of the times she has to eat a fey apple. She looks a lot like you when she does that."
Harnel remembers what direction the airship went in from Watch, so theoretically he could reach Cessie's world by going in the same direction. it may have taken some time, but not too long, and as long as he rides thermals, he could make it there as fast as the airship had.

The rift between worlds were in the sky though, hence the sky ship. But it seemingly didn't stop Michicora and Hope from getting her. The nexus is indeed a strange place.
"Fey apples?" She asks curiously. "Cessie never mentioned those."
"They're apples we got from a young dryad named Terrie. They have the odd property of making those that eat them slightly more fey for a few hours. When Cessie eats, them, she looks like you." Harnel says

The nymph burst out in a loud fit of giggles, actually having to gently put down the twins for a bit. "Really? And she eats them willingly?" She asks with a big smile on her face, sounding rather surprised.
"Well, yes," Harnel says. Cora and Bastion are disappointed that they've been put down again, but they are having fun just watching from below as Daddy and the new lady talk, "She eats them because they give her access to aether energy, which I understand can help a lot in her experiments."

"Ohh... that makes more sense. Ever the little scientist." Zelia says before snickering, so many things she could tease her granddaughter about now.
She then turns to give Harnel a look, "So... do you like it?"
"Oh, but that's not what I asked wasn't it?" The nymph asks with the same suggestive smile as before. "I always guessed you were a gentleman of distinctive tastes and needs so tell me, what do you enjoy in her fey form?" This was just too amusing to let go off, terrestrials norms were always so fun to poke at.
"That," Harnel says, a smile creeping across his face, "Is between Cessie and I. No offense, but our bedroom habits aren't really your business." as he says the last bit, he's almost laughing. that's not really something he thought he'd have to ever say to his nymph great-grandmother-in-law.

"Aww..." Zelia whines and slumps down on a nearby recliner. "Now you're as boring as her. I don't want to hear about what you do in the bed room, I'm just curious what attracts you. I mean, I asked her the same thing about you." The nymph arches an eyebrow in the direction of the half-dragon and gives him a puppy-eyed look. "You don't think I'm too old to hear about your preferences do you? I might be a great-great grandmother but I'm not old, I'm still young enough to hear about your antics."
The nymph smiles excitingly and get's up from the recliner, "Now that wasn't too hard was it?" She says before reaching over to give him a long hug. "Thanks sooo much for trusting your old mother-in-law."
When Zelia hugs him, Harnel rolls his eyes, knowing why she had done so. He'll awkwardly hug her back, before breaking the hug off. It doesn't really help that he's still shirtless, after all.

Once he let's go she doesn't immediately distance herself but remains quite close to the half-dragon as she asks. "So what happens when you eat those apples? Do you change form as well?"
"Ohh... that sounds cool. Too bad I never got to see it." Zelia says with a pout while fiddling with one of the buttons on the front of her dress. "You two really should open up a bit more, like having a party here. Wouldn't that be fun?" She asks while gesturing around the room.
Harnel smiles, "I'm not really willing to hold a party in the baby room, Zelia, and neither Cessie nor I are the type to hold big events. Particularly with Cessie's experiments and the children being so young." He sighs, "I should probably bring her to something eventually though. Maybe just to have some fun."

"That's an great idea. Show some initiative! I know I do or your wife wouldn't exist right now. It was pretty funny actually, if you're willing to hear." She pauses but don't exactly wait for a reply. "When I accosted Colben, I always did so naked. But the poor fool was always so embarrassed... so one night I showed up dressed in one of those dresses Cessie wears." She explains with an amused smile. "He was like you in a way really, only he could never look at a woman's breast unless they were covered by at least two layers of cloth. He admitted he liked the outlines, the hints, the subtly. By the end of that night we lay for the first time." She says with a giggle, actually blushing slightly like a giddy schoolgirl rather then an experienced nymph.
