Here are the mendatory rolls (I need at least one of each among the group rolls) :
1 - Athletic DC 15 (for the run/climb needed on the way - the roller help the others)
2 - Stealth DC 13 (To hide in the forest)
Others can roll what ever they want above, in the optionnal or an idea of their own.
Here are optionnal skills :
Optional roll 1 - Bluff or Intimidate Dc 15 (someone who dare stay behind to delay/draw the enemies away and earn some more time to the others -These Dc have changed since you kinda impressed them already, so I reduced DC from Hard to medium). If two or 3 of you decide to do this, the Bluff/intimidate check becomes 10. Someone doing this affects the endurance check required after their roll thus :
1 - Each players who stay behind have their endurance DC risen by 4 (or by 2 if two or more stay behind)
2 - The others not staying behind endurance DCs are lowered by 2.
Optional roll 2 - Thievery DC 13/Nature 20 (To cover your tracks as much as possible (on the way an in the forest))
You need 3/5 to succeed.
You also all have to roll an endurance check to reflect weariness and the effort of fleeing. While it doesnt count in the success/failure, if you fail it, you loose 1 heaing surge.
DC depends on your base speed :
Speed of 5 = DC 12
Speed of 6 = DC 10
Speed of 7 = DC 8
Safe way :
If you only take half the time to destroy the 10 and plan to flee as soon a you spot the riders to close for confort (you see then go atop an hill from time to time BTW) and flee, I wont rise these DCs to flee.
Risky way :
If you want to try and disable them all and push for that, DCs above will change for sure (adn will be adjusted per your good or bad successes)...
The skill challenge to destroy the warmachines is :
Here are the mendatory rolls (I need at least one roll of each among the group rolls) :
Theivery (To efficiently disable mechanic systems)
Athletic (To physicaly break down parts of the machines)
History (To know what the machines and their conception - knowing how to best destroy them)
Optionnal stuff :
1 - Nature (to help with efficent use of natural fire -set the things on fire)
To earn succes, you need 4/5, but you only will get failure on 2/5.
The number of success you get is the number of warmachine you disable (X2 if you choose the risky solution.)
Also note that if you choose the risky solution, your result at this will affect the fleeing rolls.
Note that I dont give DCs not to influence your choice since Bolerum already rolled 15 Athletic and Monique already rolled 13 History
Well after your done, you'll be able to choose how to flee of course, it can completly change or affect how the next few rolls options are (Like fleing by climbing the mountain give you a different set of option (I had not considered this until Bolerum talked about it.... this would turn out in a full scaling (Athletic) skill check)
Ok, Ung changed his muind for the low risk solution....
Is this a compromise that satisfy most of you?
Note that the fleing thing can change drasticly if you decide to go up the mountainside (that was not a good option before as you didnt had time to scale with the armies there... but now that is a decent solution (you still can flee toward the forst if you wish)... we will see after you all roll this part set in motion.
Bolerum will opt to flee up the mountainside. If possible, he'll grab a ladder and plant it on top of the uncleared talus at the cliff's base. This will hopefully force wolf riders to dismount, slowing their pursuit. Once he's up the ladder, he'll topple it to further injure and confound pursuit. After that, he'll climb up the cliff and kill off goblins as they come within reach at the top.
If Jieung is so inclined, he may wish to lurk at a catapult aimed at the forementioned ladder.
I don't think that one person, especially with Jieung's pitiful strength, could operate a catapult well, or aim it untrained, so I doubt that's worth the risk. Not sure how helpful the ladder idea will be, but it might be worth a shot if you can bait them into climbing it.
The catapult might be pre-aimed and loaded at the ladder. Hopefully, firing it wouldn't require a large strength. Now that I think about it, though, setting this up would use valuable time that could otherwise be spent wrecking the engines -- so let's forget that and instead have Jieung get to the top of the cliff where he can rain death on the goblins.
Bolerum : Do I understand well :
you want to set one one of the remiannig ladder to help you climb the cliff.
Turn around the catapult and shoot once at the incoming goblins.
you also ask Jieung to go on the cliff and shoot (I assume you meant his shuriken) at the monster.
