"I don't make a point of knowing Fat Red men, or Tattooed Orcs, well, maybe the latter that one time...". She puts a hand to her chin.
"He can't speak Common and he's pathetic. So no reason to kill him. He doesn't know anything about us. Making a wild guess; "Fat Red Man" and "Big Orc" are the Covenanter recruiters. Which means that Loknarg is our enemy's enemy, no more or less. That's all you got?"
After thinking for a little while you remember that Asmodeus's favored colours are Red and Black, and that the general symbol of the Hand of Asmodeus is a hand-shaped brand that consist of a black palm and talons (instead of fingernails) with red fingers.
Drayner and Halabur:
Spoiler
Naknar no know. Naknar not part of Chiefs gathering. Gronig was. Naknar know fat Red man and Big Orc come many litters ago and take half of tribe and best packs.

Verossa breathes out, hard. "We don't know that. That's merely the most likely assumption. I'm not anyone's idea of a genius. We have a mission that doesn't involve these idiots, and I think we should follow it.
"Else, we need to seek out this Loknarg, and befriend him. And put Fat Red Man and Tattooed Orc and Masrak into the ground. And tell...Gronig? That's his name? That he needs to find a town, learn Common, and practice roguery. Because this current pattern of behaviour is just going to get him killed."
'Well, I agree that attacking us instead of waiting for us to move on was the height of idiocy'.
Raif frowns.
'From the sound of things, these are a nomadic people. We can't just tell them to settle in a town - follow our rules and abandon their own. They'd be assimilated, and their society would break down. They'll be abused by everyone - begin on the bottom of the heap with no chance to work their way up. You've seen how the Alliance treats it's own people - peasants are little more than property to an elite - imagine how goblins would be treated'.
Clearsight clears his throat.
'Ahem, perhaps I'm getting a little ahead of myself. That's a discussion best left for another day. Still, I don't want to leave a tribe of goblins, apparently with more than one dire wolf pack, free behind our lines'.
'Of course, that needn't mean that we have to be the ones to track them down, but I certainly think we should report it to Talhruamy'.
Raif Clearsight pauses...
'I must add, I think we're in danger of taking our mission too narrowly. We were given a broad mandate - infiltrate and disrupt. Since the Cult's armies are largely orc and goblin, logically the quickest way to hurt the cult is to deprive them of that support. So if we have run into disaffected goblins, I want to know what's different between them, and the ones that stayed. What drove them to defy the cult? If it's a fear, or grievance, perhaps it could be used again?
'Anyway - as I said - not necessarily our problem. I suggest that we report back what we've learned, and let our commanders decide'.
The Goblin looks up at the tall armed woman when she mentions the name Gronig, then turns his body, looking in the direction of where he last saw the Bugbear then back at the woman again, beginning to speak again, his voice sounding almost similar to how it did when first captured.
Drayner and Halabur:
Spoiler
"Gronig live? Gronig kill Naknar if Gronig catch Naknar talking to Humans and..." he stares at Halabur "Walking Pack food."
Seeming to tense up again, the Goblin starts babbling about what Loknarg would do to the Fat red man and the Big Orc with the Hand on his face, not to mention Masrak if he met them again. Unfortunately, this babble is almost incomprehensible due to the speed and bouncing back and forth of his sentences.

"I personally, agree with Verossa, we have a mission to complete, and it is good to know that there are others out there that we can have allies should anything go wrong. But, by the same respect, if we don't get to our current allies we could be in more trouble..."
Drayner looks around, and takes a breath in before continuing.
"Ask him if he knows of a way to contact Loknarg, if there is one we might use it later, but if not, just get him to tell Loknarg that there are other who wish to defeat the... Big Red Man, and Tattooed Orcs... If that's okay with everyone else. Drayner looks to the group for agreement. "But I do believe we should move quickly"
He covers his ears slightly, to drown out the goblins almost incoherent speech.

Through his continued babbling you make out the impression he doesn't truly understand what you mean. Though if you really wish to meet Loknarg he could take you captive and lead you to the camp.

"So...the Bugbear was to whom he was referring. Well. I'm not backtracking to Lord Pointytemper and telling him the Chosen of the Coalition abandoned the mission because we felt the need to pass on intelligence he may well be aware of anyway.
"The Lady in Green here is perfectly correct in telling us we should use our initiative, but north-west is well out of our way. And it bothers me that Pointytemper gave us no time frame for our primary mission" Her voice switches from her usual husky contralto to a more high-pitched tone. "And like a silly little girl I didn't ask, then again" Her voice switches back. "Neither did anyone else. Here's a more pointed question; taking for granted that Loknarg is irrelevant to our mission, ask him which way Masrak and the dynamic duo took the rest of the tribe? They are the main threat here."
This little guy says if we want to meet Loknarg he can take us captive and escort us into camp. Well if we do take him up on it we won't be going in as captives I'll tell you that. He turns back to the goblin, Do you know where Masrak and those two took the rest of the tribe?
They follow running water. Loknarg sent hunters to follow. They say they track to bigger water then no find them. They say big human village on banks of big water with lots of big water carts.
Loknarg not send more to find them since.

"HA!" Verossa laughs abruptly. "Now that's a plan that could get us killed. Or worse. But if it gives the Covenant some new enemies it would be a chance worth the chancing. Well, I'm game. Anyone else?"
Verossa laughs "WE have an illusionist, an orator, a guy with red eyes, a cleric in a militarised ballgown, a whore's daughter, and a spanking hot petite little...ahem. Anyway. I think we'd have to make an effort not to cause a distraction".
"Spanking hot...?" She shook her head, electing to ignore whatever had just been said. "Well, regardless of our group's composition, I would prefer to stick to the task at hand. I would prefer not to leave our allies wanting. That being said..." A slight smile flicked across her face as she eyed the group. "If none of you can be dissuaded, I suppose I will have no choice but to see that endeavor through to the end. Besides, who knows what would happen once I let you out of my sights."
Verossa blushes crimson, which looks really bad given her complexion, and drops her eyes to the ground. "Ah...anyway. We need to find out how far away these...people are.
"Our mission should remain the priority, but if they're close enough for us to effect on an opportunistic level without compromising it we should do so. No soldier ever went wrong moving toward the battle. Well, that's obviously incorrect, but the thought is sound. When action is occuring, those capable of effecting it should join it. Halabur, how far northwest?"
Halabur stares at Verossa, mouth agape in shock, and quivers. That... Is something to think about later, business comes first. He tells himself while blushing. Halabur doesn't quite know how to feel about the new plan, At least we won't have to deal with Kask he tells himself. "My dear friend, how far away is your villiage? He asks the goblin.

"Far? Naknar no know far.
Loknarg make us follow pack for six moons. We run whole way. Not Loknarg though. Loknarg ride Worg.
You wish Naknar take you prisoner now?"
As the Goblin finishes talking he starts smiling, his yellowed fangs giving a comical but evil cast to his face, as he points to all of you.

Upon seeing the direction the conversation with the goblin has gone, I quickly decide to take action.
"We are wasting time here!" I declare, as I turn myself to the party. "Considering how great a threat the Covenant is posing to us, can we really afford to chatter further with this creature? No we cannot!" I say, as I pound my fist into my hand.
"But that being said, if we can find some way to turn our little friend's tribe against the Covenant, then I say we take it! We're going to need all the help we can get, right? But it would be far too risky and it would take too much time for all of us to go. Therefore, I propose that I go with the goblin to try and find his tribe, and turn them against our enemies!"
"Thank you, Verossa," I say. "And that is a fine offer, Halabur. But I believe it would be in our best interest for me to go alone. There is still a mission we have to accomplish after all, and I do not want to slow us down."
Hmm...well that should give us a chance to help bring peace between goblin and man, whilst still letting us pursue our mission..
'Good luck, Daranad. It's very brave of you. Remember, don't make any assumptions about them or their culture, and try to bring peace between our peoples'.
He's an odd fellow. One minute he has to be the centre of attention, the next he almost disappears and hardly says a word for hours...
Drayner snaps out of his conversation induced daze. "So, we have a plan, shall we put it into action? I believe we have spent a little too long waiting around already, this scouting party has set us back more than I think I'd like, I think Daranard has the right Idea, divide and conquer, it doesn't hurt to have backup prepared if things go south or west as the case may be."
He offers his hand to Daranard, "Good luck buddy, who knows; maybe these guys will be the army you were looking for, hope we meet again...Sir" and Drayner steps back and gives a salute.

I shake Drayner's hand and give a slight chuckle at the gnome's words.
"I have no doubt that our paths may cross again. But until that time, I wish you all a safe journey. And Halabur, thank you for your advice. I promise I will not soon forget it."
With that, I go to the goblin.
"Lead on, my little green compatriot. In this moment, an event begins that will shake the foundations of our world."
