To be fair, Sigilyph is AWESOME, just not with its Dream World ability. Sigilyph with Magic Guard is actually quite awesome, and most of its good moves are learned on moveset.
I wonder...would doing a Dream Radar Only run be interesting? I can only use Pokemon I catch on Dream Radar. I only say this because I've been playing a lot of Dream Radar and it's really fun. Already caught Tornadus.
(Which reminds me, I should get White 2 so I can play this game instead of waiting to finish 3 Nuzlocke Runs before I get there.)

And that is why I desparately want one for my BW2 runs. I mean, wow, Nintendo, is that a cute-ish type Pokemon that's actually, y'know, not only fairly good stat-wise, but actually made better by a non-throwaway Hidden Ability? How'd that one slip through the cracks?
(It is something of a pet peeve of mine that a lot of the Pokemon I like the design of are kinda rubbish (e.g. Bunary, Pachirisu; Emolga falling just on the side of "useable"; arguably Pikachu sans Lightball (though I used it anyway in LG, and I did get a Lightball eventually); and some of the "good" ones have pretty mediocre designs (and outright bad ones for many Normal types). And I also have a bit of a prejudice against the many of the "human-shape" Pokemon (notable exceptions being Abra line and Blaziken) - I just don't like the designs at all - which is why I tend to have no pure fighting or primary fighting/[x] types in my lines-ups.)
Man, I wish I'd run Excadrill for my Black runthrough. It's tearing everything apart, every which way. I'd wager it's actually doing better than my Darmanitan, simply because it doesn't suffer from recoil on its most powerful attacks. Steel type helps considerably, too - poison immunity and resistance to a lot of types is great.
Steel is one of the best defensive types in the game, if not the best. How many things does it resist? 7?

Eleven. Steel is the best at defense (Magnemite's line has 12 resistances and an immunity, making them the most resistant Pokémon in the game, and Dialga, Scizor, and Empoleon are also all rather resilient).
Most Steel-types are naturally resilient pretty much because of their Steel typing. I remember Lucario was good when it first came out because Steel gave it so many useful resistances. Without the Steel-type, I think Lucario's below average defenses would have made his usage a bit more problematic.

It's also the only type that resists Dragon-type attacks. Considering that Dragons are some of the strongest offensive 'mons around and Dragon-type attacks are plenty powerful, having something that resists them is a must.
Nuzlocke update- I've beaten Skyla, and my only loss since last time was my Darumaka to Clay's Excadrill. It was one level away from evolution...
My team is-
Bribe the Starmie- lvl. 40
Femis the Cinccino- lvl. 40
Nofscap the Umbreon- lvl. 40
Hipp the Roselia- lvl. 41
Terf the Excadrill- lvl. 44
Demo the Magnezone- lvl. 40
Bribe is a much needed answer to fire types, which previously pwned my team. Terf is an absolute monster- after one hone claws, he can 1-hit damn near anything. Hipp is surprisingly good- with an eviolite, she's a lot more bulky than you would expect. She's got toxic spikes, leech seed, giga drain, and rest (with natural cure). She absolutely destroys anything that doesn't have a super effective attack, and even if you get her down to low health, she can just rest and switch out.
Well, I haven't started playing yet, as planned, but my local store had a clearance on pokemon figurines, so not only do I have Black 2, but now Snivy's chillin' out with the ponies on top of my shelf.

Booooo. Bianca totally caught me off guard when she (and everyone else in the area) dropped hints that Heatran would be in Reversal Mountain, but I only now find out it's -after- you get the Magma Stone. Figures .

It always has been, hasn't it? (Was like that in DPPt, right?)
Also, one of the new Trainer classes in BW2 is a guy in a greenscreen/motion-capture suit. Hilarious.
Five badges in, and I've finally had my third casualty (and came within a hair of numbers four and five). Clay's gym is rough, what with all the Moxie Sandiles and glass-cannon Drilburs. My lineup has expanded tremendously since my last post, though, so all is well. Other thoughts:
I still don't get why they call it the Desert Resort.
I like the new direction for Elesa and her gym. It makes so much more sense than "LOL roller coasters".
Speaking of Nimbasa City, how about the ferris wheel girl? I was not expecting that from a children's game. For anyone playing as the girl protagonist, who do you encounter in front of the ferris wheel?
I'm a heartbreaker... My name... Charles.

Dialogue, for those of us who are B/W2 challenged?
The woman you ride with complains about how sweaty she is and how her clothes stick to her skin.
It gets worse in the Japanese version, apparently:
Spoiler
This is the dialogue:
"Phew... it's so sticky and hot, I shouldn't have worn this apron"
"I'm sweating so much my shirt is sticking to my body... Hey are you really looking at the scenery?"
"Aww man, my body is all sticky from sweat now..."
"I shoudn't have done this in summer after all"
"You should've removed your jacket too"
"We're both guys so there's nothing to be embarrassed about right?"
The guy (Clerk Male) you ride with as a girl in Nimbasa is really, really boring. He talks about how the company he works with is going to tear the ferris wheel down, and that he thinks the ride and view are pretty boring as well. I feel ripped off.
Though maybe if I ride it more, he'll change. That's a thing GameFreak would probably do.
Picked up a copy of Black 2 this morning, and it's going fairly well. Ended up with some maniacal laughter during the gym battle with Elesa (Nimbasa City).
My lead and highest leveled pokemon was my level 23 Servine, holding an Evolite and with Cut, Leaf Tornado, Growth, and Leech Seed. Elesa opened up with her Emolga, and I noticed it wasn't doing a whole lot of damage at all. So I put down Leech Seed, popped an X-Defend for good measure, and started spamming growth, managing to completely wall out Emolga. Several turns later, I have +6 Attack and Sp. Atk., and Emolga goes down to a Cut and Leech damage. Then I get this:
"Ding! Servine has leveled up to 24! Servine would like to learn Mega Drain, but already knows 4 moves. Would you like to delete a move to make room for Mega Drain?"
Needless to say, I swept the rest of the battle, including the level 30 Flame-Charge spamming Zebstrika, without any problems.

I just hope that my battle with Elesa goes better then White
