I beat the Electric gym first try, around level 25 for all, using a lot of super potions and Pursuit. I forgot to take notes, as I was on a plane to Munich at the time. I got to the next gym, nothing stands out in memory. Sorry I don't have as much to say.
So, that's the last post I could find commenting on that BW run. It seems I forgot to comment from there to where I am now, which is halfway through the first floor (not including the ground floor) of Celestial Tower.
Still want a running commentary on it? As of right now, everything is level 32. I can give the movesets if people care.
I have the worst luck I have ever seen with enemy critical hits. Lugia OHKO'd both my Dratini and Feraligatr with aeroblast
I'll miss them.
Moves with increased Critical Hit ratio: the bane of Nuzlocke runs. Don't diss Shell Armor when Nuzlocking, since a single crit is all the enemy needs to give you a bad day.

/Battle armor.
I hated Elesa in my white nuzlocke. Killed my Herdier because like every third attack was a critical, so i ended up using all my healing potions.
But it's nice when you get the crit, and save the day heroically.
Thus the awesomeness of ridiculously defensive Pokemon like Umbreon. So much defenses and HP that it doesn't matter if you crit on him with most neutral attacks, he can't possibly die from full HP.
Blue destroyed me. I lost half my team trying to defeat him. Being down 5 levels average didn't help me, but still. Ugh. So much more grinding to do.

I love this game, from ever I was kid I loved pokemon and still I do, I like the graphics choice of this and the mazes have been set brilliantly. I am kind of addicted to this game.

Nuzlocke update: Replaced my fallen members with Erebus the Eevee (to be umbreon) and Grizzly the Ursaring, and I'm currently training them and the rest of the team up.
Is there anything specific I should teach or give my team members?
Current Team:
Cacon the Togekiss: Air Slash/Fly/Roost/Secret Power Edgar the Nidoking: [Wide Lens] Blizzard/Fire Blast/Focus Blast/Surf Sio the Golem: Rock Polish/Earthquake/Stone Edge/???
Planned:
Grizzle the Ursaring: Earthquake/Return/???/??? Erebus the Umbreon: Rest/Sleep Talk/Dark Pulse/Last Resort
You know what? I've been totally misreading wide lens. It's a bit worse than I thought it was, but still fairly good: +10% of the original accuracy. I thought it was just +10%
In any case:
Blizzard + wide lens: 120 power, 77 acc
Ice Beam + never melt ice: 114 power, 100 acc, but not being able to efficiently use other coverage moves.
I'm honestly torn, because both options are good.
EDIT: I also wanted to let you know that I've really enjoyed your LPs so far. Currently reading through the Fire Emblem one.

I'm assuming the Fly on Togekiss is just for convenience? I get it, I swear by Fly the second I can use it. But it's not good as a battle move. Even if you keep Fly, Secret Power is physical, and you could be using Flamethrower or Aura Sphere (needs a Heart Scale) or Psychic or Grass Knot or Shadow Ball or Hyper Beam ... I love Togekiss, but physical attacks aren't its strengths. If you manage to get a Fly slave, I'd switch out for more special attacks.
I'd probably stick Brick Break on the Ursaring.

I hear ya.
I still don't see why, when they took the gambling mini-games out, they didn't leave the option to buy coins in. I mean, it's a pain in the arse grinding for TMs in Diamond/Pearl to transfer to my other games, but it's way less tedious than the gambling minigames, and requires significantly less concentration, so its the sort of thing I can do at parties, family gatherings1 and while waiting for everyone to turn up and the wargames club...
1Yes, I am one of those types of people. Everyone else can go dance/chat/booze/play party games/whatever; I'm showing willing just in showing up, so the least you can do is let me amuse myself quietly in a corner somewhere with a handheld, or more often a few sheets of paper and scribble some starship/tank designs or something.

The first three pokemon were literally just what I had at the time. I probably should have mentioned that
Fly is for convenience, and I should probably replace that with aura sphere. However, secret power is awesome! For comparison, body slam is a staple of the Paraflinch Togekiss build (that or thunder wave, generally). Secret power in a building is the exact same move, but with 15 less power. Sadly I can't breed body slam onto it in a nuzlocke, so this is my most reliable paralysis for strategy.
