Please everyone repost links to your sheets. I have the links saved to my pc, as well as copies of the sheets themselves, but just in case I lose them or the files get deleted, it would be nice to not have to hunt them down again.

Just make sure to add change the labels of things. If you want to add another line to that table, just hit enter and keep on going like the line above it. You need a | symbol to seperate cells. The bolded stuff is just to keep the table from tabling. Adding more column is just as easy as adding a | symbol to all of your rows.

Maia is a whisper gnome. She was originally posted as a human, but I realized that with so many other rogues on the team, Able Learner wasn't all that useful. Instead, I went the super-stealth direction.

Yeah, I'd thought she was a Gnome, then I looked at my table (based on the original character sheet, I think). I've edited the table now to fix that.

Hmm...apart from Rok, Kieran's the only non-caster...might have to do quite a bit of frontline fighting (glad I re-rolled now).

(Wordplay, i read your background, i hope we can find ragnar the red and fight against him in an awesome airship fight! )

It's the first time i play with so many wizard in the group, i think that i'll leave the blast to the blaster and the divination to the diviner, i think i should focus more on utility and buffs! (wich sadly i have in a very little number, i'll grab someone of them at the next level)

Question for the dm:
If our captain wanted to find some other crewmates in place of some of the old ones, are we enough in number to make the ship fly?

edit: Lynn IS A MAN! It's mostly a female name, but it's used for male too! Or i'm totally wrong, wich is totally possible.

On casters, Erin is definitely not one. Dragon Shamans don't have spells. Just auras.

Also holy wow plot and stuff.

It is standard for many ships to exchange at least of the crew whenever they reach a port, contracts expire, some crew died, etc.

The Captain didn't take the entire crew with her, just a group to provide a force of arms if she needed.

In future we should always bring one of them with us then. You know, so they can die to show the situation is serious - I fancy red uniforms.

Sorry Techwarrior, I wasn't really familiar with the class, hence my mistake. Kieran can go back to skulking in the shadows.

Its all good. They are in PHB2 if you want to familiarize yourself with them. If you don't have that definitely don't go to mithralcircle.com and download the pdf's there. That would be unethical.

Although as a side note, it might be a good idea to use the url tags instead of the hyperlink tabs, it'll let the table be smaller, depending on what you set as the link word.

For the captain, i think we should decide here and roleplay it later.

If one of us was the first officier, i think he needs to takes the role.
Otherwise, the two best choices for me are either Arryl or Kieran, i think their skills and stats are better suited for the role of a captain.

I personally vote Kierran. While I'm tempted to nominate myself Kierran is much more suitable.

Yeah, Maia wouldn't be particularly fond of serving under Kieran. Diametrically opposed alignments and whatnot. Maai admires the desire for revenge, but the general outlook on life is just too far. She would also constantly be irritated by serving under someone that, in game terms, she views as lacking sense (9 Wis) and of middling intellect (11 Int).

I'm ok with Kierran doing it. I only put ranks into prof (sailor) because I wasn't sure if we were using stormwrack combat rules or not. Also RP wise Arryl isn't much of a leader. He prefers an advisory role. If you guys want him to be captain, he wouldn't turn it down but he also won't volunteer.

Maybe an as-of-yet unnamed NPC could be captain. He/she was formerly the first mate. It prevents hard feelings from one PC ordering around another PC, and Lentrax can modify the character to suit everyone's roleplaying desires/needs.

My only problem with that, is that we suddenlly have a DMPC. I like this game, and Lentrax seems like a great DM, but DMPC's have a strange habit of ruining games. Especially when they are the leaders.

I wouldn't have a problem taking orders from a fellow PC, since we are voting to see who we are taking orders from and we have an OOC to talk about problems and a DM to intervene if things start getting ugly.

Well I wouldn't mind role-playing Kieran as the Captain, but I can see sense in cgrela's suggestion. Having a DM Captain might help prevent unnecessary conflicts.

Equally, Arryl, Lynn, Erin, and Maia are also good choices. Aimari would be a good choice if it weren't for the Charisma flaw and insular nature.

EDIT: Well, on the old pirate ships most of the decision making was by consensus, or democratic debate, it was only the sailing and fighting where the Captain took charge. We could always replace the Captain if the characters loose confidence in them.

If the role goes to a dmpc, i hope he will be a bard hadozee, because, well, flying-singing-monkey-man.
I think my character will be ok in that role, but i'm a little blocked roleplay-wise because all this writing in a language that i don't master yet.
And i don't think that the good characters that we have will be happy with maia as and evil character.

What about a tag team? Kieran will command the ship and the crew, and someone else like arryl,erin, me or a dmpc decides where to go, handles the economic business and the general code of conduct.

Oh, yeah, Maia should absolutely not be given command. She isn't evil in the summoning devils and psychotic killing spree way, but freed from restrictions, she would quickly turn that way. Right now she is just murderous in a sociopath-esque way, with extraordinary greed thrown in. As captain, it wouldn't be too long before flayed skins decorated the hull and she attempted to conquer a nation.
