Kate tries it again out of desperation, presumably with the same results.
Kate isn't sure what to do now. Well... she could keep it? It /is/ stronger has wings, and she knows she has fire breath... she looks in the mirror again.
I look pretty good.
NOPE NOPE NOPE she is not going to let thoughts like that in her head. That odd self-worship.... it feels weird and she knows it's hollow.
Think, think, think...
Kate goes to her backpack and finds that holy symbol. She looks at it a bit. Silver is nice, but maybe she needs one in gol-NOPE NOPE NOPE.
"Cosiellio, I need help, something is wrong with my brain!"
Within a moment, there's a golden flash and Cosiellio steps out of it. Having already taken stock of the situation, given godly senses, he'll try to rush over to Kate, kneel down and press a hand against her forehead with the utmost urgency. This won't feel good, as it's done in haste. a brief period of isckness, disorientation, and the smell of vanilla ice-cream fill her perceptions for the moment, but then they're gone, and Kate is back to normal. At least in mind; her body is still draconic.
"Kate, are you alright?"

Kate does not resist it. After it's done, she looks at her hand and sees...
Her hand, except half gold dragon. Not "My hand is so cool."
"Yes, much better than I was a second ago-"
"WHAT THE " At this point in time everyone in earshot learns that Sophie the spider has a weapons-grade vocabulary in English, French, German, and Russian.
"I'm going to go see what happened." Cos says quickly, getting up and rushing out the bathroom door towards Sophie's Room. Once there, he knocks., "Sophie? It's Cos. I heard your screaming."

Sophie's "room" is the far left cupboard in the kitchenette. The apartment isn't very big.
the door swings open to reveal a seven inch tall grig, the lower half of a big hairy spider and the upper half of a surprisingly beautiful woman. Long, brown, wavy hair that wouldn't respect any amount of brushing, an athletic physique, the only thing that messes up the picture is a glare that could peel paint. Not at Cos in particular, just at the world in general.
"What am I supposed to be?" She gestures down at herself, not apparently having an urge to cover up.
Cos lowers a hand for Sophie to climb up on. Assuming she does so, he looks her over. His eyes are drawn to the fact that she's an attractive and nude tauric woman at this point, but he does a good job of keeping it clinical, "I think you're a grig. A type of fey."

Cos holds out a finger towards Sophie, and his common golden glow should envelop her upper body for a moment, before leaving her wearing a bra and tee shirt, perfectly shaped for her size. the girl could use a bit of modesty, he supposed, "I don't know. the first thing I knew when I woke up this morning was hearing Kate panic because someone was messing with her head. Made her draconic in both body and mind."

Sophie tugs at the shirt. "I have to worry about clothes now? Aw, man..."
Kate similarly looks at her clothes... her nightgown is ruined. This was a good nightgown, too. "Well... that's just great. What a nice several days. There is a timeclone of me at Julie's, I have a sentient computer program on my laptop, and in under twelve hours I'm revealed to be the high priestess of Cosiellio and am turned into a half gold dragon. No offense, of course, it's just... gah!" She walks over and sits down on the couch. After a moment, she gets back up because her tail was in the way.
[Kate's Apartment]
"Just shirts, really. You only have half the worries most people have," Cos says to Sophie as he goes to sit on the couch. He presses a hand against the couch and a hole appears for Kate's tail through the back, which should allow her to sit comfortably as she normally does, "I can probably get rid of some of those issues for you, Kate."
Given her agitation though, Kate's tail is probably swaying from side to side.

"They aren't really issues. The time clone is fixing a problem I had with a fairy, The computer program isn't a pressing concern, being your high priestess is a blessing, and... pfft, even being a half gold dragon has it's boons. I can probably do pull-ups now, and I can definitely fly. And between the fire breath, scales, and the stuff I have already I shouldn't have to worry about death unless I do something really stupid."
Kate does sit down again, but it's weird having to fit your tail into a slot to just sit down.
"I can probably help with the clothes," Cos says, "Adjust your outfits for the wings and tail... And give Sophie an actual wardrobe to wear. Can't go running around in the same shirt all the time. It's bound to get dirty. But I'd need access to your clothes for that, Kate."
"But... that's going to cost you a bit.Not monetarily, though. One of my elders gave me some advice, 'don't just give out gifts. let them earn it.' I can't fix everything without something in return."

"Depends on if the Ancient Krongian pizza boxes have gained sentinence yet or not," Eileen says, as she opens the door...
...to what could very easily be a college fratboy's apartment. With empty pizza boxes and beer cans everywhere.
"..."
Tracey stares.
Then she pushes Eileen right back out. "Go to the corner shop. Buy all the garbage bags. If you get any booze while you're there, I swear by His Wickedness Who Dwells in Darkness, that I will make you suffer for it, you got me?"
Assuming Eileen goes to do that, Tracey will wade right into the mess and start looking for alcohol to pour out.
While Eileen is away, Tracey tries to locate a pair of sneakers to change into. Her feet likely being larger than Eileen's, she has cut open the toes to make room. Her high heels are dangling from the doorknob.
Her first stop after procuring practical footwear is to head for the kitchen sink, since Eileen admitted to there being alcohol there. She'll look through all the cupboards, the fridge, the freezer, and any other hiding places where booze might be hiding. All of it gets poured down the sink - not without a pang. Tracey has recovered enough from the Bad Days that she's able to occasionally drink, plus she knows plenty of other soldiers who would appreciate the booze. But for Eileen's sake, it's best that all this alcohol just goes away.
Eileen will find Tracey in the kitchen doing all this when she returns with the garbage bags. She doesn't look happy.
It's also entirely possible that the shoes she mutilated were Eileen's best pair of sneakers.
"Shush!" Sophie pokes Cos. "She's going somewhere with this. She's got the 'Something more is bugging me but I'm beating around the bush in an attempt to transition from one topic to the next' feel."
Kate, for her part, ignores Sophie for a moment. "That's very nice of you, Cos, what do you want me to do?"
"Spread my faith a little. It doesn't matter how you do it, but I want you to spread my name, get a few more people interested. We only have to start out small here, so it doesn't have to be a lot of people, but Faith is what keeps me alive, and I'm a bit lean right now, to be perfectly honest." Cos says, "Are you willing to do that?"

Sophie shrugs. Well, at first she does her spidery shrug with her legs, but then realizes that doesn't look like a shrug anymore and does one, awkwardly, with her human body. "Don't expect a lot of preaching, but I'll spread it a bit too. Now, Kate, you had somewhere you were going with this?"
"Um, well, it's just that I've been in the Nexus over a year now. And so much has changed... basically my entire body, now. And I'm a high priestess, and I start to turn into a pixie every night, and... I have a copy of my mind running around. All in a bit more than a year. I can't help but wonder where I'll be next year. What I'll be next year. Who I'll be next year. Or, beyond any kind of guessing, in five years."
Cos shakes his head, "Some worlds have a 'fate' construct. That doesn't exist here. The Nexus simply wouldn't be able to handle it with all the things that pour in from various worlds. So as near as I can tell, the future is completely unwritten for you, outside of likelihoods."

"I know. I don't think I would like to have a fate..." Kate sighs. "But if you can guess the future from the past... it's probably going to be chaotic."
"Five years and you'll be immortal. Calling it here. Not the fake immortal either, where you just don't age, but real immortal." Sophie nods, seeming rather sure of it. She would cross her arms, but that doesn't occur to her. She's going to need to get used to having some real human body language.
"I'll do what I can to make sure it won't be too bad if it happens, alright? Nothing else like when that guy kidnapped you and replaced your feet, for instance."
"Also, you need to learn how to do divine magic."
