DO YOU KNOW OF ANY OPPORTUNITIES TO BE HAD IN THOSE FIELDS
She blinks, interested.

"Not really, but I can ask around. What sorts of energy management systems do you mean?"

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She describes small-scale systems that regulate the energy consumption of singular machines such as large vehicles.

[C'nor]

[Maera's]

"Huh. I might have some work for you, in that case... Do you think you'd be able to mess around with my bike to make it run more efficiently?"

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She nods.

I CAN BEGIN IMMEDIATELY IF YOU WISH

[C'nor]

[Maera's]

The Hornet shrugs.

"Only if you don't have anything better to do. And is there anything I can do to help?"

I MAY NEED ASSISTANCE WITH TOOLS, PLEASE
She nods, smiling and glad to be able to help.

[C'nor]

[Maera's]

"Tools, I can do. What sorts of them will you need?"

[Beans]

She describes various tools that Maera most likely already has.

As it has no discernible means of opening it from this side, Trium reaches out to knock on it. Which, of course, is a spectacularly bad idea, and she's well aware of that. Wow! Trium is so polite! Knocking on the mysterious door like that. So civil and well-bred is she that any ordinary door would budge for her, I'm sure.

How auspicious is it, then, that this door is a mundane door with respect to how it is opened. Without a bolt or knob, the force of the rapping itself is enough to nudge it ajar. However, it is only passable from one side, that being the side from which it was opened, the one closest to Spec. A radiant white light shines out of this door, but, again, only from the side closest Spec. The other side will display nothing but the doorframe.

And what is to be found inside? Why, nothing but an empty infinite expanse of white and a feminine presence floating in the middle of the realm.

Trium goes to slip about half her body through the doorway, mind relinking as she does, since she has no intention of risking the door closing behind her and trapping her inside, or, for that matter, simply being non-existent, which would seem to be more accurate in this case.

"So. You are the one who branded Spec, or at least the one who arrived just after she was branded? Why? What do they do to her, and what was your purpose in applying them?"

The presence may notice that Trium has more magic flowing through her than most eldritch beings, demons, angels, etc., could contain, much less channel.

After a while of work, she seals up the panels she opened and smiles!

Maera goes to hug her, happily returning the smile.

"Thanks, Eo. How much do you want?"

She blinks momentarily.

"You can do that anyway, you know..."

She smiles gratefully, though.

"Well... If you're sure. But don't feel like you owe me for patching you up, okay? It's not like I could have just left you to die."

[Beans]

[Maera's]
She types several things and deletes them before finally projecting something.
THANK YOU. YOU ARE IMMENSELY KIND.
She then yawns, though she tries to hide it.

[C'nor]

[Maera's]

Maera laughs.

"Not letting someone bleed out in the street doesn't make me immensely kind, Eo... But come on, let's get you to your room. You sound like you could use some sleep."

[Beans]

[Maera]
She nods and smiles, yawning again, and follows her upstairs or wherever they should go to get to her room.

[C'nor]

[Maera's]

Upstairs is indeed where her room is; it's rather spacious, and well-furnished, with an attache bathroom.

She blushes a little, not having expected such generosity.
THANK YOU AGAIN
She smiles and goes to hug her benefactor.

Maera smiles as well, and happily returns the hug.
