How close am I to the nearest bandit? Trying to decide if I'm close enough (or he's close enough to me) to merit going straight to the axe, or if I can use my bow to get some shots off first.

10 ft. between you and the nearest bandit.

Hey Chaoslord, out of curiosity, why did you choose to shoot the unconscious guy Ostromir is/was dragging away from the battle?

Since this is the internet, for the sake of clarity: no value judgement is meant to be implied by the above, merely curiosity.

mmm. You guys want to offer them surrender?

It might be a good idea, since we could get directions and intelligence out of them, and Drake would prefer having them tried and serve sentences for their crimes. It does raise a question though: is there any lord or country that claims authority over this land? (besides us, eventually)

Our charter actually gives us the authority to judge any bandits we might come across.
It even specifies the punishment - death by noose or sword, unless we use the loophole that it refers to unrepentant banditry that is.

but, yes I am fine with offering them another chance to surrender.
I am still taking my attacks of opportunity through.

I don't mind surrender, but I'm also moving to block their escape. Does that mean we should roll an intimidation check or something to spook them, in addition to having downed half their numbers?

Also, I'm afraid I'm going to be MIA Thursday-Sunday of next week, the first weekend of August. I apologize if this delays the game at all, and feel free to autopilot my character should it come down to waiting on me at all.

Using intimidation is a standard action, and yes, you could certainly use it.

Are they climbing over the palisade that Aretor is camped out on? Does that mean they have entered short range?

On it at the moment. So short range indeed.

Awesome! Then my musket shots will be considered ranged touch attacks and won't count their armor or shield?

Edit:
Doesn't look like it'll make much difference lol, I got a nat 20!

Rolling to confirm critical, still a ranged touch attack, unless I'm mistaken.

Garter_snake: I don't actually have a bandage on myself since I only lost temporary hit points in the battle, the heal checks are for the bandits that where cut down.
EDIT: through now that I think about it you would probably still be able to see the damage to my Eidolon form, so unless you have a problem with it I will just assume that you noticed and acted on that.
If necessary I will edit/delete

On another note, may I in the future call you either Garter or Snake, and if so which do you prefer?

Nah, no editing should be needed. Since Drake has already stated he's never worked with a summoner before, it makes sense that he wouldn't know that Aeron wasn't actually in need of healing.

on the other note:

Aeron, your rolls might be diplomacy, but the text is a clear threat, and therefore intimidate. Please adjust either the roll or text.

you know now that I read what I said through I agree with your assessment.
I have made modifications which I hope would change things enough for it to count as diplomacy.
If it still would count as intimidate, then my result would be 4 lower.
That is down to a total of 19

Those who are listening to his answer, please roll sense motive.

I will base his answer on those.

Dunno which way, but Mel would say that we can always kill them after getting the answers we need. Also, though Mel wouldn't know it, Drake might know this detail; there's a level 1 cleric spell in the SRD that would let us determine their truthfulness if we're fine with burning half of his spell allotment for the day. We probably won't need it, though, not for this, and saving it may well be preferable.

I'm ready. Drake will take their weapons and tie them all up if he sees that they're starting to recover. CMB is -2, so they should need an 18 on escape artist to get out.
