I decided to make an account because every time my brother is unsure about something, he always asks you guys, and asking him every time need clarification on the rules is probably really annoying; so expect me to be coming around if I need advice, especially since I prefer Pathfinder now but have a lot more experience in 3.5.
Ok, hello everyone! so i got a question, i'm new here and was wondering when the new OOTS comics get posted on the site... like is there any order to it, or just whenever Rich feels like putting them up? thanks!

The comic gets put up whenever rich feels like it. Sometimes there will be three in a week, and sometimes none for five weeks. Rich doesn't like people pushing him about when the next strip will be out, but you did a very good job of putting that question tactfully which I really appreciate for some reason. Congratulations and once again, welcome!

Hello hello! I've been reading the oots comic as well as browsing this forum for the better half of a year now, and have finally decided to sign up. Chances are you'll see me in the arts and crafts section alot, and no-where else. But hopefully I'll get to know you all anyway~!
Greetings, playground! I have been lurking and reading interesting discussions for a month or two, and decided it was high time to join in. I don't expect I'll be posting too often unless I end up joining a pbp game, which I'm contemplating. At any rate, there are great ideas all over the pages of these forums, so kudos all around. Well met.
Greetings, playground! It finally happened: an awesome thread about magitek made me register, after I was lurking for quite some time.
Another reason is, that maybe in the future I will be looking for a pbp game.
Also, I bring homemade cookies. With a lot of....
marzipan. Huh. I thought, it would be something different in english.

Hello, I am iconmaster. I decided to stop lurking for one minute and sign up. In terms of RPG know-how that is probably important, I have played D&D 3 and 3.5 in the past. Nice to see you, now it's probably back to lurking...
Hi! I'm new to Giant in the Playground, the forum and the comic alike, but have heard good things. I used to play 3.5e, and now run a modified 4e homebrew game with a few friends. Love gaming of all types, excited to join some others of the same volitions.
Hello! Introductions introductions. Ok.
I am new here, though I had been lurking for a few months now. Also this is actually my third post, because I had missed this thread at first. Sorry about that.
I prefer 3.5, though I haven't actually played. I joined some online games a while back, but they all died soon.
I also like Exalted, but I have even less experience with that.
And other systems in general. With the same caveat.
Hello everyone. I'm new here and also new to OOTS. Not so new to 3.5 though. I've been playing for about 6 years and I've used a lot of advice on this forum to aid in my DM'ing. Finally decided to join up and... here I am.
I'm told that 33 is not at all old for a tabletop RPer on the internet; it just feels that way. Anyway I haven't been in the fold for some time, and I'm looking to get back into it. Also going through OOTS for the first time (why didn't I discover it before?), and enjoying the heck out of it.
Welcome one and all!
In specific: Orderic, Iconmaster, SirJames, TheUnearther, Chemicalblue, Asnys and Vannevar.
Please feel free to help yourself to any of the desserts in either the fridge or the freezer. And do not sit on the chair under the window, that's the cat's chair.

Co Founder of LUTAS. For all your less than useful heroes out there.
New kid on the block here. Name's Simon, I'm from Denmark and I am a semi-experienced tabletop roleplayer and DM. I had a profile on here a few years back and participated in a few pbp games before I gradually stopped roleplaying alltogether to pursue other interests. Having recently rediscovered the beauty of d&d 3.5 I decided to register again.
You're welcome to poke me at any point.
Looking forward to meeting you on the forum threads :)

My name is Bill Murphy and it's been over a year since I broke free of my Warcraft addiction. "Hi Bill" So I began a new one, Webcomics. Now after a year of reading/researching webcomics I am ready to reach out to others interested in webcomics. Before now I've only been an observer. Now I want to be a participant!
I came across your forum whilst searching out which version of Oregon Trail I should play. Zarah had a very interesting LP posted which brought me many smiles. I've been looking for a good LP community for quite some time, and in general just a fun forum to post thoughts and randomness upon. I've been lurking for about a week or two now and have decided to join, and add what I can to your world. I really enjoy what I've seen so far, and I hope to give you guys some fun in the near future. I'm very glad to have found you all!

Hey There Playground! Been perusing(lurking? me? . . . no . . . never!) these forums for a couple of weeks now and, well, -Gosh, you've got some really nice toys here.- Hope RL and all of you allow me to play too.
I am a remote(old sounds too OLD) AD&D player who is hoping to get back into the game again after an absence of 20+ years. I made my way to this site via a google search(I think for non-vancian magic) and have kinda stuck. My experience has been almost exclusively DMing, which I hope to continue. I am looking for a new game, as I was never quite satisfied with the the old DnD(I am drawn to the the homebrew forum) and am hoping that I can use your experience to bring me up to speed on 3.5-->PF +/- your homebrew ideas. My greatest concern after reading numerous posts on this, and other sites, is that 3.5 et al lends to superheros as the default, which is not to my taste. E6 has some appeal, but I'm unconvinced. The fishing should be fun in any case. Thanks in advance to any and all who contribute to this quest of mine!
I am fond of Strawberries, especially covered in dark chocolate.
Hi all! I've been lurking here for many years and I finally decided to join up so I can take part actively. Seeing as this is the best roleplaying forum on the internet (to my mind at least) I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun!
FOR ALL NEW MEMBER:
Hey everyone! So I recently was on the site: kickstarter, as most of you may know it is a site used to fund projects that everyday people make up. Our own Rich Burlew used it to start the reprinting of the OOTS comics, well now I recently found people who are trying to get money for a D&D documentary. Oh sure some of you may be like, "Oh man some boring documentary." But no their really is a quite compelling story behind the making of this legendary game! So I suggest you all check it out and help to make this movie a reality...
Here is the link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...ntary?ref=live
My DM (RedWarlock) referred me to this site, and I have some homebrew things I've been working on that I would love to get feedback on, so I can't want to actually jump in and get started.
Also, you may have noticed I spelled White Mage wrong. It happens. *Shrug*

Hi, NPC Whtie Mage and ewomack! Welcome to the forums
Don't worry about the misspelling, NPC Whtie Mage -- now you have a built-in way of determining who's actually paying attention when they type your name
