In Northumberland, to see the old castles and ruins, actually
I have to admit, I'm a bit envious. In the midwest US, I'm left to imagine the castles and ruins when in the countryside. The real deal must be a great inspiration for gaming.

I'm not offended . When I use the emoticon it means I'm joking and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Save for a bit, hop on a plane and come watching them in person! It's only the plane that's expensive, accomodation can be had on the cheap (I did the journey in reverse, from Italy to USA... and I think it's cheaper the other way round ).
Also, hello NPC Whtie Mage, ewomack, uninspired and all other people I haven't greeted!

I've lurked here on a fairly regular basis. Soon, though, I'll be DMing my first game. In an effort to not suck at it, I thought I'd start participating and maybe learn some things.
Hello there.
I am Xarmad and live currently in China (actually i m from Germany)
Since last month i m actually into Roleplaying. But sadly had no actual experience with it yet.
I hope that i can change that very soon and i love this comic. (The order of the Stick)
Hi all, long time reader, first time poster from Pittsburgh. I've followed the comic since the beginning, and it's always been one of my favorites. My girlfriend and some of her friends want to get into playing D&D (she used to White Wolf) and as the only one with any experience, DMing will fall in my lap (for now at least). However, I haven't played in about 7 years, and haven't DMed in well over 15. So I thought I'd come online and get some tips. With all the RPG-centered forums, why not choose the one that goes along with one of my favorite comics!
I am an aspiring film composer (just finished my second feature earlier this year). You can hear my work at http://www.reverbnation.com/joshloughrey I'm also half of a Celtic Fusion group called Ghost Estate, which you can hear at http://www.reverbnation.com/ghostestate I play way too many instruments and own even more!
Anyway, hello all, looking forward to picking your brains for tips!
Been lurking around here for...years actually. Just now made an account in a spur of the moment thing. Figured actually talking to the nice people might be a bit more fun then simply listening.
