"Hate to break it to ya, friend, but that ain't what I'd go'n call a plan. I'd say it's more a' intent." Sticking a paw into the basket of decrepit, century old salted peanuts set out on the bar, Badger pops a dozen into his mouth, crunching them loudly as he talks. "Now, allies are good, always good, but what can these Serpentine people really provide, resource-wise? More-over 'n for that matter, how precisely we planning to acquire members for this gilded guild?
Can't really be calling it a plan 'till we've got those an more worked out."[/quote]
Enshadu pokes his neck underneath his bandages. His voicebox had taken some damage yesterday from getting shot and falling onto a table. It's been freaking out. Enshadu always had known he'd end up relying on technology to live...ever since thew doctor had told him what had happened...He had lost both legs, a left arm, an eye, and both hands. The explosion had launched him down, down, down...descending to the ground. He had survived, buried under rubble...his legs cut off by a jagged chunk of glass...He had a dream before. A black dream maybe, but a dream nonetheless. Power had corrupted him wholly. Now, Enshadu had none. But, he was not blinded anymore. Well, my Serpentine Acolyte allies can provide immense magical power, and should we provide a location, protection. I don't want my organization's location to become known to Remnant...or any of the other organizations. This will be a group of thieves, treasure hunters, and information retrievers. He twitches before his voice changes a little. Of course, to get members we will have to provide a front for ourselves, and I'm, sure we can send out invitations to some of the more famous thieves and treasure hunters...And of course, others will find out about us. They can just send a letter to either of us, and we can meet at a different location and decide whether or not the person would be a help. We're not an organization as much as we are a group devoted to the gathering of resources and power. Then, we can be sure to gain more and more power...until we're both very potent players in this world...Badger, we could do anything.
Mr E has walked behind Vincent and Caroline, silented and invisible, dropping it only long enough for that word to get out, before going out of sight and sound again.
"Then I suppose this all, this adventure and intrigue and weirdness, is quite routine to a brave, stalwart traveller like yourself then, is it?" One might almost detect a hint of laughter in Saturday's tone. Clearly, he doesn't think Imesah has half an inkling of what this world really is.
"I said I didn't wish to talk about it." Imesah doesn't say anything more on the subject. She does catch on to the tone of Sam's voice, and doesn't make a fuss over it.
"Oh yes. Seems familiar though. Not sure how..." Probably cause they've dealt with him a few times in the past.
"Doesn't matter. Let's go outside and spring his trap so we can get some fighting done!" Vincent says enthusiastically as he goes to exit the tavern after the reappearing man.

Wait. How do you know it's a trap? Maybe he just wants to talk, in private. Caroline asks, following Vincent toward the exit.
Erin and Lellienth may note the hobgoblin bundled up in a long grey trench coat with its collar up and a wide-brimmed hat of matching colour. His eyes dart around suspiciously. If they notice him, he'll smile at them.
Erin blinks in surprise, then nods in return to the hobgoblin's smile.
Calvin walks inside holding the door open for Hui. He is pretty sure they have some giant size chairs at the bar. He hopes it as a peaceful evening tonight.

Hui follows and looks around the room. She is a Storm Giant, with light green skin and dark green hair. She doesn't look too comfortable stepping into the tavern, and she keeps looking at the floor, as if waiting watching for mice. Should we get a booth? she asks Calvin, indicating the back of the room.

"I don't know, do you like alcohol? I like the Archon Ale, but the ginger beer is pretty good to. I'm sure they have plenty of good drinks that aren't alcoholic.
He isn't sure what the next step to finding someone to help find her home.
"Yeah sure. I don't get to go to the library nearly enough. My uncle gets me a lot of books though. I'm sure we could visit one, though I will like most things in the Inside the library could be as strange as anything else around here."
Though having not having been there himself he really doesn't know what the Nexus libraries are like.
Badger nods along as Endhadu speaks, mulling it over as he crunches down another pawfull of peanuts. "Sounds like a right good plan to me. A few details that need smoothing out, maybe, but fine work the same. I think I can think of a way to keep Remnant of our tails as well, if you ain't already had a think in that department."

"Well, if you have no more questions I can answer, I think it's time I make my farewells." Saturday says, glancing down at his watch.

"There is always the Neutralist Organization." Sam says, getting to his feet and returning his hat to it's rightful place atop his head. "But if you are not in the mood to split your earnings, than I might suggest you need merely raise your voice a few octaves and ask 'Anybody got an adventure?'
