Because I'm a jackass who doesn't know the rules apparently. Since the attack's not going to do anything meaningful anyway, if it'll fix the problem can I switch it to Gift mode?

Bear in mind that Claws of the Silver Moon was hit hard by errata - the Gift version doesn't do anything except give your attacks the Overwhelming tag (minimum damage two dice) now.

Also, shouldn't you update your sheet...?

I'm aware of the errata (those Fearmeforiampink comment files are a Godsend), I just won't be able to post until late this evening and don't want my mistake to delay the game further.

On the autoklaive attack that hit me, what do you mean by Razor Claw base?

The Autoklave's states are based on the Daiklave's stats with a few special powers, 2 more motes of attune cost, and +2L damage. I simply added that template to the razor claw.

Also, 2 things to note: putting the highest speed action in your post is very helpful, as it lets me place you on your next action tick.

Similarly, having an accurate total of your Soak values allows me to accurately tell what the damage done to you should be. I do try and figure it out if I have to, but I can easily miss things. If you have multiple forms(Lunars with DBT, for example), noting the soak in alternate forms is encouraged if it changed.

I did have conditions stopping me game posting. However overall I just can't get into Midnight. She didn't turn out how I wanted her too; as you may recall I kept dropping interest during recruitment because I couldn't get a concept the way I wanted it in my head, meaning she was somewhat rushed and cobbled together from multiple different half-formed characters I had in my head. I apologise for this, but I don't think I can make her work, meaning I'll be stopping playing her.

I would request the opportunity to make a new character if they could be fitted in without disrupting the game, but I understand if you say no, since this isn't exactly a glowing testament to my ability as a player.

Good question. I think it's a combination of things, some of which are definitely out of your hands but others... hmm. We've spent the last six weeks enmeshed in a fight scene when none of the characters know each other (except superficially, and I think we've lost most of the people who connected), and we don't have any goals except to do a job that none of us are personally invested in. In a movie this would be fine because the fight scene would be over in five minutes at most, and then we could go back to exploring the story and getting to know the characters. But in this medium, it drags a little.

On top of that, I still haven't finished my character; there are things about him/it/whatever that I can't get to cohere. If I were really into my character, I wouldn't mind sticking around in hopes that the game would take off after getting past the birthing pains. As is... I'm not sure.

I don't really know what to suggest to fix this—there might be something you could try about the pacing, but I'm not a particularly good GM in this medium so I'm not sure what—but there it is.

Edit- also! This is totally unrelated, but going over the IC I remembered I've been meaning to ask for a while: could you clarify your tick charts a little? The initials you use for NPCs are opaque to me, meaning I'm having a hard time keeping of who's going when and which enemies are still around. I think WK stands for our erstwhile boss, and nicknames like Autoklaive are pretty clear, but SH? TS? I have no idea who they are. Not sure if anyone else is confused, or if I missed a post where you explained the abbreviations, or what.
