BTW, you should start thinking about how you want to develop your relationships with the NPCs (Sandru, Ameiko, Shalelu, and Koya), whether you want to be friends or rivals with each. You don't have to make a decision for all of them immediately, but I'd suggest picking for the NPC associated with your campaign trait soon, because it can net you a nice chunk of XP (if you have enough Cha, that is).

This does bring forth an interesting point (other than the xp bonuses ... grrr lucky sods), namely that Agatha and Lena are both friends of the Mvashti family and thus might actually know each other ... or at least might have heard of the other.
@Mari01: Let me know if you want any sort of prior relationship with or knowledge of Lena via the Mvashtis 'Friend of the family' link?

I like that I have picked up the nickname of "the bird"
... So far we have the 'Bird' and the 'lad' - nothing yet for the others.
We'll have to see how things develop as to whether these remain purely mental descriptions or whether they might come out in play ... which could be lots of fun
I'd say yea. I think it's hilarious that we both introduced ourselves as healers, AND that we both use the different energy types.

Would weapons be allowed in the tavern? I'm sure it would a bit imposing to be sitting with our weapons on us. (Especially considering I'd be carrying a scythe)

I don't think there's an outright ban, but it would be a little weird to have much more than a dagger on you without a good reason.
Lol that's what I thought.

Looking at that table I'm now wondering if decided I don't need a Charisma was the best move for this adventure path....
No. Though there are other ways to advance the relationships.
As in the Jade regent player guide, there are five ways to raise a relationship score:
(1) Charisma (base)
(2) Campaign Trait (once at creation; 4 points)
(3) Companionship (each level; 1 point)
(4) Gifts and Insults (once per level; 1-2 points)
(5) Special Events (???)
And since our characters are now in play, that really leaves options 3, 4 and 5 or alternatively permanently increasing charisma.
Since 3 and 4 we can do each level, and 3 is automatic, it's probably worthwhile to focus a certain amount of RP on gifting/insulting.
Speaking of which, Bhaakon, do we get any info on gift/insult categories for the NPC's associated with our campaign trait? Or will that happen later?

I need for people to confirm whether they're going for friendly or competitive relationships with their trait NPCs before I can do that. However, the NPCs don't play a huge role in the very beginning of the campaign.

Alright then. Agatha gets 400 xp for getting six relationship points with an NPC for the first time.
Awesomeness!
