The second Yousuke steps on the branch, the hairs on his neck rise in anticipation and he realizes something is amiss. The resulting whirlwind of fire being all the confirmation he needs, the swordsman reflexively dances away from the explosions, jumping back to find stable footing on a lower branch.

"Do you think I would let you do as you please?" he parrots back to the scientist. "Her name is Camille. You would best remember it, given that it is the name of the girl who will never belong to you."
