Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Artemis smirks at the bitch comment. That's the best he could come up with? Two of the ghosts were familiar. The two floating ones are Haunter, guys. Poisonous Ghosts, most are immune to Ground moves. They tend towards range. Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, ugly **** like that. Artemis pulls out a ball and sends out Diluvium to F5, then hops over Aquilla, running up to H5. She then lets forth a blast of electricity that crackles over Anni and the one ghost that Artemis doesn't recognize (she scans it after the blast).

Gerald coughs, slapping himself on the chest a few times before dislodging the antenna of the radio. Gods damn, Romeo got that in further than he thought was possible...
"You-*hack*"You have better range with telepathy than I expected, you know that?" Make me a path, I'm going to try another stupid thing.
He flicks his pistol from it's resting spot into his hands, before shooting at the humanoids. (1d20)[2] (1d20)[4] (1d12+19)[24] (1d12+19)[22]
Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
'Cresselia sends her regards' Romeo says, blowing Anni a kiss.
Romeo returns Elly and sends out Luna to G6. No way was he going to let her fight against Anni till they figured out how to take that pendant off.
Puck, in Romeo's arms, launches off a Shadow Ball at M7.

Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Meanwhile, Wagner feels the fire build. Foul...foul cur! Rapscallion! Foul villain, hiding behind the lives of damsels and a gentleman in distress! HE SHALL BURN FOR THIS!
He bursts forward, howling to victory as fire bursts from his body, fury in his eyes as he charges the spiritomb, ending at K5. (1d20)[15] (2d10+29)[46]
Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Main Battle
Artemis's crackling bolt of electricity is just too slow; Akinektos ducks down, the bolt slamming heavily in the wall.
Gerald's shots are met with similar success, simply flying through the two shades.
As Romeo makes his snide remark, Anni glares at him, temporarily distracted from the Heatmor. The resulting burst of flames flies over the enemies. When the smoke clears, Anni is simply gone, although his guards look worse for the wear. The Spritomb seems to have barely been injured by the mighty blast.
Spoiler
10 temp HP to Zippo.
Puck's Shadow Ball tears straight through the other Haunter, dropping it instantly. The ectoplasm splatters the back wall, coating it.
Wagner burns bright as ever, slamming heavily into the Spritomb, barely nudging it once again. It seems somewhat shaken from this blow however, eyes glaring menacingly.
As Zippo's wave of heat rolled over the other team, an eerie laughter rolls over the hall. Three shades step out, appearing in the hallway. They all look like Anni, but gaunt, shadowy, as if he was made of some otherworldly material. All of them raise their hands and a tremendous burst of heat flies down, striking straight down on Artemis.
Surprise psybit ch! he says. The beam falters for a second but strikes true, searing the armor into Arte's skin, causing her to cry out in pain before collapsing to the ground, unconscious. You can already see the burns crossing her body.
Spoiler
90 to Artemis
Anni's guards act next. One of his guards flies forward with supernatural speed at the Pokemon, fist slamming heavily into it, knocking the Pokemon off balance and almost dropping it. The other follows up with a second blow, shadowy fist connecting with the creature's jaw, sending it up into the air and down hard, barely knocking the Pokemon unconscious.
Spoiler
72 to Zippo
Finally, the Spiritomb goes, falling back quite a ways. You all feel a disturbance moments before a powerful ghostly wind tears through the area, hurting Wagner. It glows with a strange energy after the attack, as if it has become stronger.
Spoiler
34 Wagner.
Ethan
You try your hardest. You really do. But it's to no avail; you simply cannot move.

Artemis grunts as the flame consumes her, before falling on the ground, twitching slightly as her skin gets burnt by the metal.
Artemis! Aquilla screeches as his trainer goes down. Not a little chirp: a screech, as from a nearly grown member of his species. Back off, bully! He lets out another screech at Anni before flying to D10, raking Anni/copy with his sharpened talons.

Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Gerald looks around, before deciding. Tossing away the old pistol, he grabs out an SMG that he'd grabbed before loaded with steel ammo aiming to the other two Anis as he steps back to G4. Meanwhile, Sparky heads to L5, before launching copious amounts of webbing at them both. Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Ethan
Once again, your struggling is to no avail.
People Actually Doing Stuff
Aquilla flies forward, enraged at the assault on his trainer, only to miss with his wing, Anni ducking just under it.
Romeo's bullet, despite being on target, flies straight through the shadow being, doing no damage. Luna's attack connects, only to do very little actual damage to the beast.
Sparky is more successful; her webbing easily snares the two shades, dropping one and tangling the other.
As Paul and Buck both attack, Paul's attack phases through, doing nothing. Buck, on the other hand, connects with something solid, forcing the other copy to fade.
Anni grunts in pain, obviously angered. A second later he is gone from the visible spectrum, mysteriously gone.
The other shadow beast, likely ordered by Anni, rushes Wagner, slamming a powerful fist capable of shattering stone into the Growlithe. It connects, heavily, tossing the dog like it's a rag.
Spoiler
48 to Wagner.
The Spiritomb floats across the room, mustering a ball of shadows in its maw. As it launches the ball, a strange bell sounds. The orb blasts into the little spider, sending it flying into the back wall, dropping it unconscious before contact. Small orbs of shadow fly back to the Spiritomb, floating into the center of its body, healing it. It also exerts a powerful aura, forcing moves to be harder to use.
Spoiler
98 damage to Sparky. And Pressure is also in effect now.

Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Gerald growls as he sees his team go down. He thought he couldn't want to kill this guy enough. Apparently, he was wrong.
"Well, now you just made it muking personal, didn't you."
He charges past the Shade, shooting at it with the special ammo once, and the spiritomb muker once. Then he taps Sparky's pokeball, recalling the poor, brave little spider first. (1d20)[7]-Shade, 4+evasion (1d10+17)[19]-steel damage (1d20)[17]-Spiritomb, 4+def (1d10+17)[22]-steel damage

Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
Rotom
The Porygon manages to dodge the Thundershock and launches a beam at energy at you, only to have it go far wide and hit the wall.
Fighters
As Aquilla rushes forward, the Spiritomb absorb the attack easily, not even being phased by the blow. Gerald's shot against the shade does a little damage but doesn't drop it, while his shot against the Spiritomb doesn't do anything either.
The Spiritomb is hit by the Swagger, it's form becoming more menacing just as its eyes begin to become less focused.
Puck ignores Romeo's orders, something particularly strange for a Togepi, especially one as devoted as Puck. It leaps off Romeo's shoulder...
**CRACK**
A very large knife, covered in a black aura, connects with Puck. The knife should have carried through the Pokemon, skewering it like a boiled egg. Instead, the egg shatters and a pair of elegant wings erupt. Puck flaps his wings, sending a powerful gust of wind at Anni, knocking him backwards. He staggers back, regaining his footing. He turns the knife over into an overhand grip.
Little flying bastard. You're first, he says, cracking his neck.
Spoiler
Puck has evolved into Togetic! Puck learned Gust!
I transferred your IBiY to the Gust.
The shade, the instant it sees Willy come out of the ball, pulls back its arm, slamming a spectral fist into the Sandshrew.
Spoiler
40 damage to Willy.
The Spiritomb's eyes focus, only for a second, just long enough to send a hypnotic wave of energy over Aquilla. The energy has no effect however, barely even making the bird drowsy.

Gerald was going to try and help the girls. But this was just too good a chance, as he taps Wagner's ball to recall the fainted mon. He looks at the knife, and something inside him clicks as he feels drawn to it. That knife looks really useful...

Re: Team Rocket: How the Muk are They Still Alive?
#winning?
The Spritomb continues to be resilient. Gerald's shot is stopped far short of the target, the bullet collapsing in on itself and falling to the ground. The Wing Attack hits it hard, but once again it continues to stand, absorbing the blow. Willy's tremors, while shaking the very earth and causing a large rock to fall, crushing the shade, doesn't quite manage to drop the Spiritomb either. It does cause chunks of the ceiling to fall away once again, creating chunks of obstructing rock.
Spoiler
Rocks are Rough Terrain!
Also, Willy gets 10 temp HP.
Anni takes the Shadow Ball from Puck, although he doesn't seem all that happy about it. After taking an additional taunt and a shot from Romeo, he looks more insane than normal. He's obviously hurt, but he's not going to stop.
NO! I WILL NOT RUN AGAIN!
He shouts, eyes murderous, and leaps at you, knife coming down across his body to slash at it. It connects heavily, a jet of purple light erupting as it does so, creating a deep cut in your chest. It feels as if it ripped your very soul, and the flesh is smoking slightly.
Spoiler
41 damage to you. And, (sorry) you are Burned.
The Spiritomb once again retains it's reason, flying backwards and spinning up a powerful Shadow Ball, firing it at Willy. The ball lifts the small Sandshrew off the ground, forcing her to slam heavily down, easily unconscious.
Spoiler
56 (ouch) to Willy.
