[Nexus Alt-Plot] Nothing and Nightmares {Beans & C'nor}

[C'nor]

Talina smiles happily, snuggling up to both of them.

[Beans]

Lenia seems content, as does Nycca.

[C'nor]

"Lenia, next time I go this long without talking to you, come find me, okay?"

[Beans]

She nods, hugging Talina.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, returning the hug, and nuzzling Lenia's cheek.

[Beans]

Eventually, she has to go help with some of the other girls; she smiles, hugs them both again, and slips away!

[C'nor]

Talina looks after her, feeling somewhat guilty about having been focusing on Nycca to the exclusion of the others.

"I should probably go see how Marina's doing... You want to come?"

[Beans]

She nods and slips out of her arms to head up to Marina's room!

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, following her up.

[Beans]

Marina is finishing up her exercises for her arm, little stretches and turns.
She smiles as they enter.
"Hey, guys!"

[C'nor]

Talina smiles back, though unlike what she normally does, she doesn't go to hug her, since she doesn't want to interfere with Marina's exercises.

"Hey, Marina! How're you doing?"

[Beans]

"Good, how are you guys?" She grins.

[C'nor]

"Better than we have been for a while, honestly... You mind if I take a look at your shoulder?"

[Beans]

She nods and slips out of her long-sleeved top; her arm seems to be healing pretty well, thankfully.

[C'nor]

Talina seems pleased about that, going to gently rub a mild numbing salve onto the burn, which should also help speed healing somewhat.

[Beans]

She smiles, sighing as the mixture is rubbed in.
"Ahhhh... thanks."
She squeezes Talina's free hand in her own.

[C'nor]

The sorceress smiles as well, squeezing back.
"You're welcome, Marina. It's the least I can do, considering that I'm the one who set the fire in the first place..."

[Beans]

"Aw, not your fault." She hugs her gently.
"I'm free and alive and that's what matters."

[C'nor]

"If you say so..."
Talina returns the hug, rubbing her back.
"But I guess that that isn't such a high price, depending on how you look at it, especially since you're healing, yes."

[Beans]

She nods; Nycca hugs as well, grinning.
And healing very nicely as well.

[C'nor]

Talina glances over at Nycca to see if what she thinks her friend means is accurate, looking somewhat surprised.

[Beans]

Nycca smiles.
Of course, that's thanks to your work, Tali.

((It just seemed a somewhat odd thing for her to specifically mention that, so with my knowledge of later events, I wasn't sure if that was just a comment on how it was healing or if she was flirting with Marina.))

Talina smiles as well, reaching over to stroke Nycca's wings.
"Sherry's been doing at least as much for her as I have..."

[Beans]

((More a mention of Talina's medical skills than flirting.))

She giggles and winks; Marina giggles too, blushing.

[C'nor]

Talina grins wickedly, nodding.

"True. I have been focusing more on you recently."

[Beans]

After a pause, Nycca blinks.
Odd question, Marina, but do you remember what that doctor lady looked like, the one who left before Talina came?

[C'nor]

Talina stays quiet for the moment, looking rather curious as to the answer to that.

[Beans]

"I think she was pale... with red hair, that's all I know."

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, going to hug Marina again.

"Thanks. It's not much, but it's more than we had, and it'll help."

[Beans]

She hugs back and grins.
"Glad to help!"
