[Nexus Alt-Plot] Nothing and Nightmares {Beans & C'nor}

[C'nor]

Talina grins as well, and nods, nestling into the hug.

"How has Sherry been, anyway?"

[Beans]

"She's good." Marina blushes, giggling. "She's really helpful with my arm and all..."

[C'nor]

Talina nods.

"She's nice like that. I'm glad you two found each other."

[Beans]

Marina blushes more heavily; Nycca giggles.

[C'nor]

As does Talina.

"And this is embarrassing to you because...?"

[Beans]

Nycca whispers the obvious to Talina!

[C'nor]

If the obvious is that Sherry and Marina are rather more than friends, she already knew that, and was asking why Marina was embarrassed by having it brought up.

Otherwise, her player appears to have missed it as well.

[Beans]

That's what it was; Marina's just a little shy about it.

She giggles. "Just, um, haven't been this way with anyone for a while."

[C'nor]

Talina nods.

"I see. Was that because of the whole... Locked in a room thing... or just that you hadn't met anyone you wanted to be with?"

[Beans]

"The second one, definitely."
She rubs her elbow, flexing her injured arm's fingers.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, seeming relieved.

"Good."

On noting the stuff with the arm, Talina pulls out a flask similar to the one that had the gold stuff she used on Nycca's cuts in it, but containing a black and red liquid, and goes to put it in the actual cut, should that still be visible.

[Beans]

She allows her to do her work, smiling; someone, however, knocks at the door.

Nycca turns and will open it unless Talina objects.

[C'nor]

Talina, naturally enough, doesn't have any problem with that, and simply continues to work figuring it's most likely either Sherry, or if not her, then one of the other girls.

[Beans]

It's an NPC girl.
"Talina? We found something about that doctor lady Lenia was asking about..."
She has some printed pages, which she brings over to the mage.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles at the NPC girl, going to take the pages from her and look them over.

"Thanks."

If she knows the girl's name, she'll include that in her thanks.

[Beans]

They managed to dig up some files on her, including a photo of the elusive woman, though it's blurry and mostly only shows that she indeed has red hair.
More importantly, there is also a surmised location in the file.

[C'nor]

If the NPC is still there, she goes to hug her, grinning happily.

[Beans]

She hugs back!
Nycca peers at the file and grins.
Guess you'll be wanting to find her soon?

[C'nor]

Talina nods, apparently quite pleased.

"As soon as I have the time to, yes."

[Beans]

I think this afternoon would work; I can take over from you with helping the other gals.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, going to plant a kiss on her forehead.

"Thanks, Nycca. I'll make sure to leave everything you'll need, and Sherry's been learning a lot from me about how all this works, so she should be able to help if anything new comes up."

[Beans]

She giggles and hugs her!

Before long, it's probably time Talina went looking to see if this doctor is really there.

[C'nor]

At which point, she does so!

[Beans]

She'll find it eventually, located in a sub-basement; the door is labeled "no visitors please", et cetera.

[C'nor]

Talina sighs, figuring this probably isn't going to go well, but, after a moment, knocks anyway.

[Beans]

A voice comes from behind the door, muffled.
You read the sign, right?
Please leave me alone.

[C'nor]

"Yes, I read the sign. And I'm sorry about disturbing you. But I actually do need to talk to you, so can I come in, please?"

[Beans]

Who are you anyway?
The person behind the door sighs.

[C'nor]

"My name is Talina. If it helps, I'm here for Marina, Sherry, Nycca, Lenia, and the others?"

[Beans]

There's a long pause, then a lock clicking open.
