[Nexus Alt-Plot] Nothing and Nightmares {Beans & C'nor}

((I suppose it is a fairly niche thing.))

Naera frowns playfully, and contents herself with stroking and caressing said areas, then.

"Once you've had a bit to recover, how do you feel about going hunting instead of just sitting here waiting for them, liasa-veleen?"

[Beans]

Vo nods shakily.
I'll need to build a little something first.

[C'nor]

"Will you need some help, or just time?"

[Beans]

Just time...
She collects some random stuff and heads into the basement.

[C'nor]

Naera follows her down, looking curious.

[Beans]

She sets to work building a sort of straight frame, then messes with other things, including a battery holder and radio parts.

[C'nor]

"Would you happen to be making some sort of sonic weapon?"

[Beans]

Sort of...
Radio wave laser.

[C'nor]

"Ah. Probably more effective, yeah... No danger of it blowing up while you're building it or anything, right?"

[Beans]

Vo shakes her head and deadtimes.

[C'nor]

"In that case, would you be alright with it if I mix up some other nasty surprises while you're working on it, or would you prefer I stay down here with you for now?"

[Beans]

Sure, good idea...

[C'nor]

Naera nods, and heads back upstairs, looking for the cleaning supplies.

[Beans]

They're under the kitchen cupboards and stuff.

[C'nor]

Naera sets about mixing bleach and ammonia into glass bottles, filling each about halfway, and quickly sealing them; should nothing stop her, she'll then take several more large bottles, and go looking for a truck of some sort.

[Beans]

There's one in le garage!

[C'nor]

If it's diesel, she'll drain the fuel into several more glass bottles, and then head off to the laundry room, looking for powdered laundry detergent; if she can find some, she'll mix it with the fuel, and then head off to find some normal gas.

[Beans]

She'll be able to get normal gas as well, so she'll likely be able to make what she wants.

[C'nor]

That would be glass bottles, filled with the detergent/diesel mix, and with gas-soaked rags stuffed into the tops.

That done, she'll pack her improvised weaponry into two large, easily accessible, bags, and sling them on, before heading back down to see how Vo's work is going.

[Beans]

Vo has her makeshift directed-electromagnetic-radiation weapon ready, though lots of it is duct-taped.

[C'nor]

"You ready to go, dear?"

[Beans]

She nods, gripping her gun tightly.

[C'nor]

Presumably, then, they head off to Vo's lab, unless Vo has a better idea of where to start.

[Beans]

They won't be able to enter due to all the police activity, but they'll be able to see the building.

[C'nor]

Naera hisses in frustration, looking for anything that might lead them back to the group, including scents, that can be found from where they're allowed to be.

[Beans]

They'll get a scent leading them south for a few blocks, though it's faint.

[C'nor]

Naera follows it to wherever it ends, a feral grin on her face.

[Beans]

They'll see a moving truck drive off!
MOVING THING! MUST FOLLOW!

[C'nor]

Naera snarls, charging after it, and trying to hook her claws and/or her kindjal into the thinner metal on the back if she can; she's about twice as fast as a human, should it be going fast enough for that to matter.

[Beans]

Vo manages to grab on a few seconds later; they'll be going for a good while.
