[Nexus Alt-Plot] Nothing and Nightmares {Beans & C'nor}

[Beans]

She nestles into her chest, still asleep.
T... lina...
Nycca smiles a little sadly.

[C'nor]

Talina seems to be somewhat unsure of what to do, and settles for gently rubbing Nycca's wings, hoping to help lull her into a deeper sleep, where hopefully the bat-fey can actually rest peacefully.

[Beans]

Nycca snuggles closer and seems to settle down better.

[C'nor]

Talina seems to enjoy the snuggling, continuing the wing-rub, since it seems to be helping Nycca sleep; eventually, the healer will doze off, though not for a while, since she intends to stay up until it seems fairly unlikely that Nycca will have another nightmare tonight, and even then it'll be a very light sleep - she'll probably wake up at more than a slight twitch or two from her friend.

She'll probably be woken in the morning, then, with the bat-girl's lips brushing her cheek. Nycca is asleep and content, which is nice to see for once.

[C'nor]

She is indeed woken up by that, and smiles happily when she see that Nycca is apparently doing well, though she makes no move to wake the battered bat-fey before she would wake on her own, so long as her friend's sleep remains untroubled, since she's fairly sure Nycca can use all the rest she can get.

Nycca awakes with her lips against Talina's cheek and sits up, blushing.
U-um... g'morning?

[C'nor]

Talina smiles at her, sitting up as well.

"Morning to you too. How're you doing? You sleep okay?"

[Beans]

I-I, um... I'm good.
Uh.
How'd you sleep?

[C'nor]

"Good. And I stayed up for a while to make sure you'd be okay, but that was intentional... Honestly, it was nice to have you there. I think I slept better than I normally do."

[Beans]

U-um, okay...
She smiles nervously.
G-guess I'm glad that I could help?

[C'nor]

Talina frowns slightly, noting the nervousness of Nycca's smile.

"Look... Seriously, what is it that's bothering you?"

[Beans]

I, um...
It was a little awkward to wake up and realize you've been kissing someone in your sleep.

[C'nor]

"Fair enough. Though that doesn't explain yesterday... If it helps, though, I woke up when you started, and I didn't mind."

[Beans]

I... I've just been feeling troubled lately.
She looks away, frowning.

[C'nor]

Talina frowns as well, remembering what Nycca said when she was talking in her sleep last night, and goes to put an arm around her.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

[Beans]

I... I think I'd like to find somewhere to be by myself...

[C'nor]

"A place for you to be alone, I can do. Maybe you could use that spot we were in last night? Or I could get everyone to not bother you for a while while you were in here, so long as you made it clear when you were heading off to be alone."

[Beans]

... Here works. That'd be great if you could...
She sighs, stretching.

[C'nor]

Talina nods, smiling at her.

"Of course. Do you want to be alone now, or just have it for when you do?"

[Beans]

I'd like to be alone now...
She hesitates, and plants a peck on Talina's cheek.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, and goes to kiss Nycca's cheek as well, giving her a quick hug as she does, if allowed.

"You're welcome, Nycca. And in that case, I'll leave you be for a while. Let me know when you're ready for some company again, okay?"

With that, unless something happens to prevent her from doing so, she turns and heads downstairs, gently closing the door behind her as she goes.

[Beans]

Sherry hugs her when she comes downstairs.
"Hiya Tali! How's Nycca doing?"
She giggles.

[C'nor]

Talina grins, happily returning Sherry's hug, and going to pick up the elf.

"Hey, Sherry. Nycca's doing okay. She actually slept through without problems last night, once we got back... Oh, and she wants to be alone for a while, so don't bother her, okay?"

[Beans]

Sherry giggles.
"Okay then!"
((Just threw up so I may go off unexpectedly))

[C'nor]

((That's not good... I hope you feel better soon. Do you know what's up?))

Talina smiles, heading into the kitchen.

"Have you had breakfast yet?"

[Beans]

((Not really... did it again just now, but hopefully that means I'm done.))
She nodnods and smiles.

[C'nor]

((*offers net-hugs*))

Talina smiles as well, looking around to see what there is that can be made without setting Sherry down.

[Beans]

((Systems report: I went at it a third time, eventually retreated to my bed with my tablet [containing the first season of MLP:FIM] and posted a few more times before giving in and just watching ponies until I went to sleep. I seem okay now though.))
She'll probably need her hands, so Sherry tries to wriggle out of her grip and help make her some eggs!

[C'nor]

((Well, that doesn't sound good. I'm glad you're feeling better now, though.))

Talina gently sets the elf down, and happily accepts her help in making eggs.
