[Nexus Alt-Plot] Nothing and Nightmares {Beans & C'nor}

[Beans]

Soon, they have eggs!
Also, I think it's Marina that's an elf... or half-elf... I think?

Anyway, the redhead giggles and smiles.
"Now let's get some food in you, tall girl."

[C'nor]

I know Marina is a half-elf, but I though that Sherry was an elf as well?

In any case, whatever her friend is, Talina smiles, and goes to kiss the top of Sherry's hair.

"Sounds good to me, bubbly one."

((And I have to go off again for a bit. I'll be back soonish.))

[Beans]

The tektek I have of Sherry is just human.
She giggles, leaning up to hug her again.

[C'nor]

Talina happily returns the hug, going to sit down and pull Sherry into her lap.

[Beans]

Sherry smiles, enjoying sittign with her friend.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, enjoying Sherry's company as well, and digs into her eggs; should Sherry seem as though she'd like some, the healer will be happy to split them with her.

[Beans]

Sherry's just happy to share her company and some light conversation about what's going on; it seems like most things are going about as well as they could be, considering the circumstances.

[C'nor]

Talina seems pleased about that.

"Do you want to watch a movie or something?", she asks, once she's finished her food, assuming that most of what could be covered by that conversation has been.

[Beans]

Sherry nods and grins. "Let's get the girls together and see if they want to watch too!"

[C'nor]

Talina grins back, and, presumably, the pair will go to do that!

[Beans]

Afterward, she'll notice Nycca hasn't come downstairs yet at all. It's been a while, so you might expect her to come down at least once...

[C'nor]

Talina does indeed notice that, and hurries up to Nycca's room to check on her; when she arrives, she knocks somewhat hesitantly, but still loudly enough that it should be easy to hear inside.

[Beans]

Nycca's voice is loud enough to be heard, but not very much more than that.

[C'nor]

Talina does indeed enter, looking rather concerned for her friend.

[Beans]

Nycca hasn't even gotten dressed yet; she's just laying on her side on top of the covers.
Oh, hi Talina.
What's up?

[C'nor]

Talina seems somewhat relieved by that, since it's better than what she was expecting, and goes to sit down next to her.

"It's been a while and it seemed like you would have been downstairs for something at least once, so I wanted to make sure you were okay."

[Beans]

She shifts to look up at her.
I'm okay, don't worry... how's the girls?

[C'nor]

Talina smiles at her, and repeats what she learned from Sherry, as well as her own observations from this morning.

[Beans]

That's nice...
She wouldn't want to leave this world with her friends in a bad situation, after all.
Nycca props herself up on one elbow.
And are you okay?

[C'nor]

Talina seems somewhat startled by that.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

It seems to be a serious question, not a fancy way of saying yes.

[Beans]

Nothing, just wondered how you were...
She sits up and puts her arms around Talina gently.

[C'nor]

Talina smiles, returning the hug.

"I'm alright. A little tired, but nothing I can't handle."

[Beans]

Good... that's good.
Nycca smiles lightly and stretches a little.
You, um... you could nap here if you want.

[C'nor]

Talina smile widens, and she nods, going to lay down.

"Thanks, Nycca. That sounds nice, if you're sure you don't mind..."

[Beans]

She snuggles closer and nestles into her shoulder.

[C'nor]

Talina goes to kiss Nycca's cheek, gently stroking her wings.

"Night, Nycca."

[Beans]

She smiles and watches her friend sleep, wondering if Talina will miss her when she's gone.

[C'nor]

Talina would definitely miss her. She'd miss any of the girls, and she's closer to Nycca, Marina, and Sherry than she is to most of the others.

[Beans]

Nycca probably knows this, which doesn't make her decision any easier.
She just watches Talina sleep for now, laying quietly.

[C'nor]

Most likely she does, yes.

Talina will end up nestled as closely to Nycca as physically possible while she sleeps, if the bat-fey lets her.
