You must have changed your avatar, Cuthalion. Previous posters have been calling you a robot, but I'm seeing a man in a cape playing a...(Keytar? Washboard? Come on, Komodo, you're disgracing your musical history here! Wait, oh, crap, am I still typing this?!) Ahem.
I like the design, simplistic OOTS style, and consistent Autumn-y color scheme. However, I personally feel that an avatar's duty is to stand tall and boldly represent something about the poster behind it. Yours seems a little too static, and nothing about it really catches the eye or strikes me as original. In conclusion, nicely designed and functional, if not much more. 7/10

This is going to sound harsh...
Pun or no pun, I can only judge this avatar on its merits as an image.
And as an image, it's not very good.
The tail is too long, the legs are bent funny and the mane is too static for the motion the character is supposed to be performing.

Not your best work.

Filial Piety: A filly version of a fusion of Rarity and Pinkie Pie and also a reference to a religious practice in which one's ancestors are worshipped.
My main issue is that the legs look off. But that's a side effect of the pony creator's posing function used on smaller ponies.

Hence, they're shown either head on or from the side, rarely from an angle.

But I thought I'd give it a try for once.

I like this, especially once I noticed the candle, but you can see the eye on the other side of his head. That just seems really weird, as You don't see that on other ponies. But overall, a nice 8.5/10.

That's a pretty good-looking sword... it's got that shiny reflection, an edge to the blade, a detailed grip, an interesting shape, all the works. My only complaint is that the area where the hilt connects to the blade looks a little dull compared to the rest of it since the details are smaller and the distinct colors are harder to make out. I say 8.5/10.

not bad, but the washboard? is the only thing that really evokes any sort of story, and not much at that. I prefer avvies that look like they're a tale waiting to be told, not some street performer asking for a nickel.
