I, on the other hand, have been preparing to go on a trip starting today. About a two-year trip, to be more exact. College is starting back up next week, and i'm leaving home for the first time to start "big person" college instead of the small-town feel of the community college from which I graduated last spring. A huge chapter of my life just ended and a new one is beginning, so needless to say I'm incredibly excited. Posts are coming, but if I don't post immediately it's because I'm moving into my first dorm room ever.
I apologize for the lateness in my posting. I have been very sick for the past four days (like, laying in bed and finding new and creative things to cough out of my lungs sick). Expect a post from me tonight if it's not to late!
It looks like I'm nowhere near alone in posting late. I was about to post before I went to bed, but my internet (and phone) suddenly went out. I decided to just wait until morning, so here I am.

I still need to repost my sheet; I'll do that as soon as I've either revised it to my satisfaction, or persuaded myself that the old version is fine as-is (ha!). Don't hold your breath. >_> But in the meantime... it's sort of a tradition for me to pick a new theme for Mar in each thread, to reflect her change and growth. I have tentatively selected this as Mar's theme for Return, or at least the opening stages of it.

It's really kinda hilarious Umber's little game with Fate. He plots and schemes and thinks he has it all figured out, and then Fate goes and turns his little plans all on their head.
Perhaps that's why he's still around - Fate likes their little game too!

Just be thankful it wasn't a female memory-fragment, and the triggered memory involved giving birth to the little squirt!
I think that would actually make me uncomfortable for only the fact that you had typed out a full birthing sequence, rather than reading about my construct remembering a full birthing sequence.

Aww, man-- did I miss two separate DMs? I thought I was only one behind. By now I guess that's just tradition... Although, it is one I'd really prefer to reverse.
I'm adjusting to the away-at-college life slowly but surely! I've already got a few years of community college under my belt, but this is my first time living on-campus. It's been a little hard, a lot of fun, and I've been really busy! Hence my delay. Sincerest apologies, I'm getting more and more used to my class schedule, and I believe I'll be able to settle on one or two times a week specifically devoted to writing for Ironheart, so that should help me on the consistency front.
DMs up. I'll be doing a set next weekend as well, despite it being the Labor Day weekend here. As such, I would like replies submitted by Thursday, August 30th.
