Sometimes I forget that OotS fandom is what got us all here in the first place, and so anyone who is on these boards at all has that in common (with possible exceptions, I suppose, but the general rule still applies).

I actually know several people who frequent these boards and have never even glanced at OotS and I'm like .

Here's a question for the group. Does anyone have experience either playing or running Call of Cthulhu or Delta Green? I've been looking into it lately and am really interested in subjecting introducing my group to it. Delta Green seems like it'd be right up Inspectre's alley.

...Yeah, I have experience with Call of Cthulhu. As a note, avoid the d20 version like the plague and stick with the Chaosium system. Never tried Delta Green. Was there anything in particular you wanted to know about it?

So after a moment of thought I realized that the song I linked a few pages ago would make the perfect theme song for Omi, The Drowning Despair. Although I liked Baerdog7's suggestion as well.
Now that the forums are back (hopefully), I can get some work down on the DMs. Going to try to get them all done, not sure if that will happen by tonight or tomorrow night. But it'll happen this weekend.

A few are a bit shorter than I would like, so I will try to make that up to those people with the next set of DMs. Hopefully you all have something to work with for your next round of replies.

Darn, my bad! I'll try to make sure I remember that in future updates, thanks. Also, feel free to kick Garret's ass at this point - I think the fight has pretty much run its natural course.

Whoo! Fall Break! I will finally have time to work up a post over the coming weekend. What with my two heavy midterms out of the way, I finally got non-stressed enough to figure out what angle I want to take with the most recent twist. Hang in there, Baby!
He was Umber's personal nemesis during Escape From Ironheart and reluctant sidekick during part of Flight. Ander only actually met Ross once during the finale of Escape but he's been one of my favorite NPCs.
The one at the far end of the room is hulking, brutish
...Okay, I think I need to describe what The Spirit looks like.
Humanoid, first and foremost. At least, her core features are. Her dimensions are increased to stand at a lean eight feet tall, though.
She has a youthful but plain looking face: gaunt, sallow features, curved nose, big deep eyes. Unkempt, lank, colorless hair falls this way or that.
She has feathered wings much like an angel's, though tawny instead of white.
Her left arm, while in her "battle-form", is long, craggy, with massive claws- a decent approximation, though more stony and rough.
Her right arm remains normal regardless, though at this particular moment ends at the wrist, from which Maurice's blade springs.
She wears heavy steel boots (all the better to land on demons with) and a worn, rough chain shirt- both normal, real material, just in case she runs into any more stone knives.
All in all, more built for reach, speed and agility- after all, who needs toughness and brute strength when you can just reknit any wound?

I'm calling it now. Master Vork is Nihlus...and/or a Cylon.
I hope so, that way Mal has been made a dark apprentice of UNLIMITED POWAH, or he's got a robot for a teacher.
