We should make it plain, what are we trying to accomplish? Lilith can get us in the compound, but what are we going to do when we're there?

Inferes will want to eliminate all threats to her and Lilith while the party still has the strategic initiative.

Well, I thought that the goal was to get in, rescue Esseandra's girl, and cause as much havok as possible? I think that the current plan is to use Silent image as a distraction while we make our way in.

I honestly don't know what do to about Red. I should have given him a solo adventure when he stormed out. But honestly, the player hasn't posted since then. Was I too rude? I (and Inferes, strangely enough) thought his plan rather foolish.

If he'd put it to the group as a suggestion, it would be one thing. It's not a crime to put forward a silly idea, just so you can get confirmation that it's a silly idea. But he seemed to be trying to Godmode it past everyone else.

I thought it was good role playing personally. Character conflict a time honoured tradition, isn't it?

It's literally impossible to talk about the plan when everyone wants to be in the same room as the prisoner, so I have to do whatever. And it's only a silly idea if you don't know anything about military organizations.

You can consider Red to be gone permanently. I'll just wait until Marlowe is done, DM my part, and be done.

I did. My post specified Red and ONE(1) person who had the highest Sense Motive modifier. But that doesn't matter now.

We got the information, and most DM's in my experience are not evil enough to create an additional unnecessary area for a lying prisoner. I think the main issue was that we had no way to take a second prisoner.

BTW Zero my father was USMC and I am a military history geek. Don't tell me I know nothing. Seriously. Youur plan was based on a bizarre assumption and then worked on a multitude of dodgy assumptions. And put everyone into unnecessary danger. It was a bad plan. I was personally gobsmacked by it until I realised I had an instrument on hand to cancel it.

Your plan, on top of intrepreting these thugs as a "disciplined miltary organisation" for no good reason, has the problem that you think that makes competant military people predictable. Competant military people are not predictable to their enemies, sir. That's what makes them compentant.

I'll hand over command when the time comes. But seriously? A sexist Warforged? How does that make any sense?

I also vote for killing them. Letting them go is too dangerous and bringing them with us is madness. We could bring them along if we had their mothers held at knife point in a secure location as hostages but we don't even know if they have mothers.

edits don't spoil already written rolls, you can't create new ones, and you get a warning if you delete existing ones.
