And so it came to pass, that the heroic Balthor strolled through the realms that he had conquered, basking in the adoration of the everyday man (and woman and child as well), having slain the abominable Elemental.
He reaped the benefits of vanquishing the tyrant and freeing the realms from the reign of terror, even if his own ideas of how to reign only marginally differed from the previous ruler.
As he was walking through a small village, overseeing the rebuilding of the destroyed buildings, he was beckoned into the local tavern by a busty maiden, tempting him with a tankard of frothy ale.
he decided to take a rest, and to enjoy a cold, refreshing beverage.
He stepped into the tavern and sat down at a table, at which point he heard the door slam shut and the lock bolt slide into place. Looking around, he saw the remains of the personal guards of the late Elemental waiting for him, daggers, axes and swords at the ready.
Valiantly, he tried to fight them off, but their numbers were too great, and eventually, and inevitably, the brave Balthor died a stabbity death at the hands of the rogue avengers.

@V I am not a sugar-cube dispenser. I have never owned sugar cubes and will never keep them in my house. You will have to go with sugar measured by spoonful.
