Sorry for the long delay from me. As stated in my profile, weekends I'm generally unable to post. Should be getting some replies done in a couple hours. I'm going car shopping today!
Alright Excal, I've gotten you up to the point we discussed earlier. You can write your character getting himself to along the road to meet Reynold and gang. Sound good?
@3secondcultist and mono - will be responding later with you folk.

@Everyone - did I miss anyone else?
Nope! Not I, leastways.

I cannot tell you the number of times I laughed while reading this.
The good news is I might FINALLY (after 3 years) have found a job opportunity to teach art (what I went to college to become).
The bad news is that this means I'm spending extra time gathering resources and references toward that end. I'm REALLY gunning for the position. This as well as being moved to a different position in my current job, I don't have as much time. This is not keeping me long term from running this. It's just keeping me at a certain amount of time per day that I can post.
I apologize for any slowness on my side, but I will try to churn out as much as I can in the time I can.
And before I forget again, @Debatra - Thanks for letting us know. Sorry you couldn't stay.

Also, I decided to post my list of NPC's and mentioned shops in the 5th post of the OOC. Gives you a look at every non submitted character, whether they were made by me or another player. Might help in the long run. Let me know if there's anything that needs tweaking!
Everyone I promise I'll be posting tomorrow. I have a big job interview this week that I'm preparing for, and if all goes well I'll be finally get an art teaching position. Again sorry for making you wait, folks. Wish me luck!

Out of curiosity: how large was the radius of the illusion/transmutation wish that KimZahn cast? You said there were hundreds of people who were changed by the magic, but how far does that extend? Would any of the main characters be transformed?
Because that would be neat to write.

I'm going to say that everyone was well out of range. People closer to the gate were still themselves. It was a 30ish foot area, but with the over crowding and small creatures and so on, that turned into over 100 affected.
However, it would have been very interesting. Especially if someone who was invisible didn't notice the change because they didn't see it, like greenwing. But no dice.

I probably haven't moved too far from the gate... but I'm more than 100 feet away, at minimum.

you know, I had seriously intended for GWD to work with Deneth... but things just kinda got out of hand. He also never got around to contacting the Big Boss (or whomever replaced him) and pulling strings in the underworld to find Zane. PLOT kinda got away from me.
Ah well. I hear there's a hobgoblin invasion on the horizon I might wish to do something about...
As you might have seen by my response to "Elif", the criminal world is highly disorganized since the removal of the big boss. Several have tried to fill in, but many are getting out of dodge or becoming affiated with the society or painters, or are moving elsewhere. It will be interesting when the Big Boss comes back to play....
...You do know that the " big boss" is referring to the leader of the local Clan of kobolds indigenous to the region? The ones that live underground in a tunnel network all over the city?
It's all over the place! I can't possibly learn it all. I gave up on trying to figure it all out awhile ago. If you can port specific things to the ooc, i'll add it to here, but otherwise I won't know it, and neither will anyone else (because I doubt people even know WHERE to look for it that are playing in this). One of the reasons I have so much information stuck into the beginning here is so that everyone can be on the same page when they write. So if you'd like to help me with that, I'd not complain XD.
I had about a year and 1/2 to learn all the stuff. If something comes to me I'll be sure to share it with you.
In light of that, the other important thing to know about the big boss is that he claims to be dragonwrought. However the only possible dragon ancestor with be a " gluttony" dragon. This is probably due to a steady diet of that gnome meat, which everyone knows it is high in saturated fat.
