As to the length of my post, I always hate that intro thing they do in books, so i just started with the story, it was short because I had to figure out were they were going. by the by, wombat, what is going to happen with an apprenticeship with the society?
A sketchy one, my uncle pushes me into a guild apprenticeship, then I spend my time unobtrusively gathering information and greasing palms in high society, while in my free time tying knots and throwing wheat cakes into fountains trying to find out what the spirits want me to fix.
Out of all the characters mentioned in my IC post, only Adeak, Erinde and Eli existed more than two minutes ago. Personalities are yours to make up as you go WoD.

@Wombat: Is the hostage's name Almeran, Alderan, or Aldaran? So far, you have used all three names. If this is intentional, that's pretty awesome (sort of like Denna from Kingkiller Chronicle, another great series I recommend). If not, well then .

Good eye. Yes, it's intentional. However, he always pronounces it "Al (as in short for allen) Dair/Mair (rhymes with stair) Wren (like the bird)."
Added a district map in the Locations section for Aldhaven, since I only had previously provided a city wide one. This should help people understand the makeup of the city districts more.
