Yes, I know Jägermeister is in the Zane plot but I couldn't resist using him as my intro, I promise at the earliest convenient time I'll exit The Zane.

Thankyou Raven for the brain-bleach worthy avatar.
Well, in my next IC post the Herald of Dross (my character's ship) will be docking in Aldhaven. Then recruitment begins for the return of one of the Society members. So, if there are too many characters to chase down Zane, my character will be taking stragglers (especially if they have ties to the Society at all). It will pay well, and considering the enemies are an entire legion of veteran drow fighters led by a psychopathic warlord, Reynald will need everyone he can muster.
Of course, this isn't IC knowledge yet.

@Hipho - he really isn't committed to an arc, I just haven't switched him over to non attached, because he came in when there wasn't a "non attached" arc table. I welcome the interaction! Arcs can mix just fine. This is Connection and Contention, after all.
@Plans - Zane's intregal enough i might just take him over, should it come to that. He probably didn't expect this to go this fast. I certainly didn't! I like it though.
I've noticed a lot of short posts in the IC as of late. Do remember the one line rule. Some of you are pretty close to negative wombat props. Which is to say, I love you all, but please put in a bit more. Its harder to respond in anyones post when you don't have a lot. I would like to say that in one day we've gotten past one page. That's pretty crazy and sweet.
While I love this thread and will make my best efforts to be speedy, also know that there are 17 characters, possibly more who haven't applied yet, to respond to at any given time, and all the npc's I now command...lol, lets just say I have my hands full. Weekdays I post pretty well. Weekends I'm usually sparingly on, due to a second job, and real life events.

I DID try to warn you that you were taking on a big project...
The way this game seems to be going, we are looking at quality over quantity anyhow. I wouldn't worry too much about the pace of the game, as long as it is inhabited by believable characters who make for a great story. That is, ultimately, the most fun element of this whole project. So take your time with it!

I'm resisting the temptation to have Eli be a smartass and say something like "Um... sir? We're already in Elemard. You've been runnning this chapter of our Gray Guards for the last fifteen years at least..."
Because you know... I can't travel to my current location.

I can't post on Tuesdays
Question: is anyone in the crowd gonna respond to my bellows? I just yelled "WHERE CAN I FIND A MAGIC-CASTER" in the middle of a marketplace. What's gonna go down?

You said he was the captain of delere'ele, not elemard. I took it to be in the realm somewhere. nevber stated where you were either, so I'm pulling GM and saying you're somewhere close buy buy not in the city. like an out laying village orlarger town.
@Sam - isn't calicade gonna?
@ EVERYONE - MAJOR UPDATE - I got into a car accident this evening. I'm fine, the car is most likely toast. Counting my lucky stars and all, but this will likely impact my ability to be online when I'm not at work (which shouldn't affect posting, just general availability outside of work). I'm currently having to stay at my dad's house as it's closer to work and he can provide transport, at least for tonight. As for this weekend...I don't know where I'll be...I'll hopefully be on a bit, but I'd suggest people who don't have connections to toher characters reaaaally start looking for someone to interact with at least for now. I'd rather not like this to whither because of something like this. So to sum up, it should only affect my weekends until I get a car. Hell, I may need to live at work awhile until this clears up. Sigh.

Love you guys.
Hope everything pans out alright for you on your end Mr. Wombat.
Oh, and by the way Plans, I (all too late) finally found a direction for Silvanus (he had an abandoned city called Croatia that needed exploring).
I'm happy though, because now I have some direction for him if I choose to use him as a character for a different game, though I feel that moving him away from Aldhaven will be a difficult process.

Well, seeing as my character is nowhere near, nothing from him.
If he had been around, he'd have heard the banal roaring and dismissed it as a moron who is useless for his endeavors. He's looking to recruit the smart people who will hire the stupid people for him. So he'd ignore you. Nothing from him either way.
Expecting an immediate response may by unrealistic. Try it in RL sometime. Yell "WHERE CAN I FIND A MAGIC-CASTER" in the middle of a crowded mall. See who responds to you.

Wow. That is rough, I am so sorry. Glad you were unharmed though. In the meantime, I will have to get creative with my character. I suppose I can think of something for him to do when the Legion gets to Aldaris Pass (probably write that post up tomorrow, to account for the passing of time). This might be an opportunity for strange side adventures!

Yeah, you do realize that Anti's character is about to recruit you, right? The whole "opportunistic" thing might not fly with the Morganstern Society.
