Just a side note -- for future rounds, any interest in linking the names to a strip in which they appear? For the smaller characters (e.g. wizard guy), it might give them more of a fighting chance with those who need to be reminded who they are...

At least now I can get back to enjoying my glass of elven wine in peace and quiet, without being called on to intervene in someone else's problems. Clang, clang, clang goes the trolley! Ring, ring, ring goes the bell! Git away from me, ye daft fool! *sigh*
Voting Update
12: Celia (21) vs Yikyik (6)
Wizard Guy (17) vs Sara Greenhilt (10)
Bozzok (17) vs Mr. Jones (10)
Jephton the Unholy (8) vs 13. Sabine (20)
If you want to get your favourite character (or character you kinda sorta like) over the line, you may or may not be running out of time to vote .

I will almost certainly end up doing that, starting with the next post.
All the names on the list are from the Character Appearances Thread, but only the seeds were arbitrarily determined by number of appearances. There were some omissions from the top 96 (Windstriker, Solt's Donkey, the Order's various mounts from post-Dorukan's Gate for example; sorry to anyone who was looking forward to voting for them), and other inclusions who weren't in the top 96 (Wizard Guy, Gortok the Destroyer, various others who haven't been revealed yet).
Is the voting update really necessary? It seems to me that it kind of ruins the tension; and it's not like anyone will vote more than once, or be swayed if s/he didn't bother to vote before.
Celia for showing Roy the advantages(and disadvantages) of dating outside his creature type. Sara Greenhilt for not letting being dead keep her from living it up. Bozzok for his grasp of underworld politics. Sabine for keeping her cool even with a broken neck.
Wizard Guy. I've no idea who he is, but he's got to be better than Sara.
Bozzok VS Mr. Jones
Bozzok. Anyone seriously think a lawyer will win a popularity contest?
Jephton the Unholy VS Sabine
Sabine. Tough one. Neither one is my favorite character, so I just went with the one that appears more.

That poor dwarf. One of the minor villains I was hoping could show up again, but alas, it wasn't so.
Spoiler
I would have voted for the dwarf assassin against a lot of characters--certainly against any of the characters in the 2nd round--but he was just up against too tough a competitor.
Wizard Guy - 20 - 60.61%
VS
Sara Greenhilt - 11 - 35.48%
Bozzok - 22 - 68.75%
VS
Mr. Jones - 10 - 31.25%
Jephton the Unholy - 8 - 24.24%
VS 13: Sabine - 25 - 75.76%
"I dunno, I count 'able to be picked by a rogue,' as a pretty major defect, aye?" 6: Durkon Thundershield
VS Hank "No one likes a backstabber, I mean, figurative backstabbers, not literal ones like you or me."
"You'll never take this city while I'm alive, monster!" General Chang
VS chief grukgruk "comic way too wordy for chief grukgruk sometimes."
"Which is not to imply that I didn't enjoy casting five spells with a range of Touch on a scantily-clad fiend chick, because I did." Pompey
VS Grand Larcenist "I ain't shooting it at the hobgoblins, Belkar. I have a slightly more... regal... target in mind."
"You may now escort the prisoner to the tunnels, in accordance with your orders. A spatula may be helpful in that regard." Team Peregrine Commander
VS 19: Demon-Roaches "They had theurge for a snack!"
Durkon Thundershield Chief Grukgruk Pompey Demon-roaches - Easiest choice ever. I love the roaches and the Team Peregrine Commander is easily my most hated character. It sure was great to see him implode.

Chief Grukgruk. Chang will never be able to compete against Grukgruk.
Pompey.
Demon roaches. I think the D-Roaches will automatically win, because it's opponent isn't very known, and isn't as nearly as funny as the Demon roaches.

Durkon (though I'd also vote for Hank against a different opponent.) grukgruk Pompey (not that I really like either choices here) Demon Roaches because they're awesome, though I'll admit I did like that particular elf quite a bit.
