Default A gauging of interest for Fantasy Craft

Just wondering if anybody out in the wide world would be interested in a little bit of on-line Fantasy Craft action. If I get enough interest, I may start a game up.

Thanks in advance

I only have the core book for fantasy craft but I would be interested if you manage to get enough interest.

Posting interest. Given the online nature, how will X/session abilities function? Also, knowing what campaign qualities there'll be would be useful in determining what exactly I'm interested in playing as.

Before you is a concrete dome, facing you, its singular door, a solid iron slab with a simple keyhole. Inside is your gift. In your hand is an ornate golden key, unique in all the world. In the other, a slip of paper on which the words "Be Free" are printed.

What do you do?

Good question, I hadn't thought of that. I imagine that "x pages = 1 session" would be a good bench mark, depending on the rate of posts, or maybe a sort of weelky thing.

As for campaign qualities, that would depend on the setting. I have two that might work for this, Goblins & Gateways (plane hopping, Victorian-ish setting with guns), and Nerrivik (more of a classic fantasy setting), so whichever one sounds more appealing.

I'm willing to vote for Goblins & Gateways, but I think reserving judgement until we have more players would be a good idea.

Hmm it's been a few months but i'd certainly be interested (assuming we're talking about the same edition).

I've got the base book, all the splats and the adventuring companion. May have to check if my errata is up to date, also have the custom species, talent and specialty generator lists. ^^

I was unaware that there were different editions :P Those lists sound mighty interesting... Where did you get them?

I'm assuming we are talking about this one right: http://www.crafty-games.com/node/348

I have the 2011 errata, not sure if they made a new one since then and the adventure companion.

I think it might have the details in the file (not at home comp), I got the files from friends when we found and were still playing it - so I didn't download myself.

I'll see if I can find it later or ask my friends on friday at game night.

The lists might be on the crafty games forums.
-----------
Think second printing is just an original book with Errata corrections and a few additions from some of the other books, not actualy a new system.

I was just making a reference to a new edition, cause other Crafty games have 2 or 3 editions - like spycraft.

~shrug~ We can play without the errata if you want - it's gm's decision afterall. ^^

Well, that depends, who's got the second printing, who doesn't? I can deal with errata if it makes things simpler for you guys.

I have the first printing and downloaded the errata later on. So it doesn't matter to me but I do recall, that I did like the changes in the errata.

I likewise have the first printing and have since downloaded the errata. I'm also fine with the changes that have been made by the errata, though I'm just the slightest bit sad that Truly Massive was eliminated, albeit not for any mechanical reason.

First printing and Errata here as well.

I like a lot of the Errata stuff, but it still makes me a little sad that as a player I cant become really really big eventually - think cap is large since they took out the feat/strength domain that can increase your size category by 1.

That and Magic Domain became lame in comparison.

I've also been wondering, when is the recruitment thread going to go up? As far as I can tell, Leeham's not created any new threads since this one.
