so, If I make a person for the waiting list and everyone gets to say... level 7, before I get let in... do I upgrade to level 7 or am I trying to keep up with them while being level 1?
How do you feel about the Unleashed Arcana alternate class features for Conjurers, and eventually becoming a Malconvoker?

Dude, I genned a character and you didn't put me in the waiting list. What's up?
Oops, just straight up missed it. I'll check it later today.
Dayaz...all chars start at level one. That said, since it's not party centric, and the world does not auto-scale in levels(some areas are always fairly secure, some areas are always horrifically dangerous, barring player intervention), level should not be the greatest of concerns.
Additionally, I may increase the player cap...I'd really like to, I'm just waiting on my crazy schedule clearing up a bit so I can pump out reasonably quick updates before I commit to that.

"World domination is such an ugly phrase. I prefer to call it world optimization."
By my calculations, you should have another 8 skill points left to distribute.
After that, go ahead and start up...one more should be no worries.
Edit: Dayaz, I have no problems with the Malconvoker class, though I leave the math of minionmancy mostly to PCs. In addition, book standard ACFs are allowed, and yes, this does include Abrupt Jaunt for those fond of teleportation effects.

Got an open slot, I'm gonna run through all the char sheets this weekend, and pop the next person in...and yeah, Orran, should you encounter a kobold at all...you can roll up kobold alts. =)

Drynwyn, apologies for overlooking your char, put him straight up to playing status as a result, welcome to the game!
Edit: Additionally, another sheet I hadn't gotten to, Mangles' char, looks pretty good, just needs to add in the modifiers from the Quick Trait, Inattentive flaw, etc, and it'll be good to go.

By 'you', do you mean me personally, or anyone in game? If the latter, I'll get one made up over the next couple of days.
Unlocks are a personal achievement...if you find them on a char, any chars you roll up can be kobolds. Transformation can also happen via game mechanics, as per reincarnation, should you prefer that route.
That said, kobolds are among the easier races to run into. I'm shocked nobody has yet. =)

Well, Jim hasn't not met other races through lack of trying...
Indeed...but you're the only one to have left town as of yet. Therefore, you'll probably run into stuff the quickest(there's also notable random elements to each area...each area has a bunch of pre-designed stuff, but also a list of random encounters and some probabilistic stuff to select 'em. So, there's a certain element of luck determining what you face...but in the long run, an explorative or aggressive approach should result in running into the most things.)
