Dave acts fast, he returns peach, shifts to G1, and throws a pokeball. Growler's ball to be exact. The ball bounces off the ground, and releases the mon in mid flight(around I3) at altitude with the birds. "Dinner time boy!" shouts Dave as the Meowth materializes. Growler finds himself in cat heaven and scratches at the birds as he flies by and lands on his feet (around L6)
Between the split seconds that Growler is released and he hits a target, one of the birds quickly charges into him, thus getting in the way of his attack. This reveals the other three birds to be simply images of the original. Seeing her target, Coatlicue fires off a poison sting, but it misses and damages no one.

Blake nods, thinking, Lux, drop some Smog on him, but watch out for the others. Lux drifts over and lets out a cry and sends a ball of purple vapor hurtling behind the bird, bursting in mid-air into a cloud of smoke. Blake then pulls out a Pokeball, and after checking to make sure the bird is still standing, hurls the ball at the flyer.
Spoiler
Lux will move to H2 and use Smog, hitting the bird only.
Lux: Smog(Centered at J2, 2M up, 3M Blast) - AC: (1d20)[10] v 5 + Spec Evasion(Poisons on 13-20), (1d6+11)[13] Poison Damage plus (1d6+3)[9] on Crit
Blake will attempt to capture the birdie IF it is still standing and hasn't been captured.
Blake: Basic Ball - Capture Roll: (1d100+5)[8]
The successive attacks pile into the bird and after a failed pokeball that broke upon the ground, Blake has the lucky throw that captures the Staravia.
Dave calls out slasher "ok bud I'm going to need your familiarity with the dark again we got birds buzzing us do you think you can help keep a look out for them so they can't jump us?" Dave collects the broken ball

Picking up the Pokeball with his newest acquisition, Blake says, "Well, that wasn't bad at all." Good job, Lux. The Litwick gives a happy cry, and Blake says, "Let's go... and keep your eyes peeled for anything we might need."
Not one of you notices if there are any berries or seeds nearby. You also don't notice that the birds are no longer over head. Luckily, Blake is able to notice that there is a hoard of birds silently flying at you. There are almost too many to count. You better act fast if you plan to get out of this alive.

"I say we make this a rolling battle we'll never get any where if we stop for every hungry and angry bird that flutters our way, slasher cover me" Dave shoots a sling bullet at St7 and Slasher at the earliest opportunity climbs up Dave and stands balanced on the bulk of his backpack ready to leap at and intercept any birds who come after Dave."watch where your putting those claws I like this hat" comments Dave. once slasher is on board he shifts towards the source of the fire.
Dave's attack flies wild as he and Slasher turn and run. Collin proves more successful with a thrown rock and is able to disrupt the illusion of one of the pursuant birds. Blake holds his scalpel at the ready, the thin blade sharp as ever. Then the flying birds charge. One bolts right for Blake, but he was ready and with a quick slash he disrupts the illusion. Another bolts towards Dave, just catching up in time to be brought down by Slasher. Coatlicue is also able to disperse another illusion with a poisonous sting.

Blake watches the illusory bird flicker and fade under his blade before thinking, Lux, smoke the real ones out. The Litwick rises into the air, level with the birds, and moves forward slightly before firing a burst of smog at the center of the pack, which explodes into a large cloud that engulfs most of them. Blake then slips back slightly, watching the Litwick cautiously.
Spoiler
Lux will move to E7, 3m up, and use Smog centered on H7.
Lux: Smog(Centered on H7, 3M Blast, hits St6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12) - AC: (1d20)[15] v 5 + Spec Evasion(Poisons on 13-20), (1d6+11)[16] Poison Damage plus (1d6+3)[9] on Crit.
"its like angry pidgey spoinks revenge" comments Dave as he fires another sling bullet at St7 and continues to head for the fire in the distance. slasher keeps doing his thing.(posted to early)
Dave throws a lucky ball and captures one of the Staravia outright. Collin tries to replicate the luck but fails miserably, breaking the ball in the process. Blake backs up, letting his pokemon deal with the birds. Slasher waits, prepared to keep his trainer safe should one of the birds attack him. With only 2 of their previous 12 left, the birds start taking desperate measures. One darts for the floating candle, wings outstretched. It smacks hard, and holds position on Lux's other side. The other aims for Collin, and hits just as hard.

Blake thinks, Lux! Get back away from them, and try and snare the one near you! The Litwick drifts back obediently, the flame at its tip extending into a whirling rope which flies at the nearest Staravia like a flaming lasso. Blake watches, making sure he still has a target, and flings another ball at the birds, hoping to take one of them out of the fight.
Spoiler
Lux moves to E10 and uses Fire Spin on St9.
Lux: Fire Spin - AC: (1d20)[7] v 4 + Spec Evasion, (1d12+17)[25] Fire Damage plus (1d12+6)[15] on Crit, Target is Trapped for (1d4+1)[3] Rounds on hit and will take 1d20 damage each round trapped.
Blake will move to B7 and throw a Pokeball at St4 if it's still standing, or St9 if it's not.
Blake: Basic Ball - Capture Attempt: (1d100+5)[34]
"slasher faint attack!" shouts Dave. at the earliest opertunity slasher will leap off daves shoulders and faint attack St9 (landing around d5) once slasher has launched/attacked dave will throw a pokeball at the nearest St still standing and shift to recover Pb1
Spoiler
capture:(1d100+4)[10]
faint attack
Hit: can't miss
damage: (1d10+25)[31]
Coatlicue's attack hits hard, poisoning the remaining Staravia as well. Lux lets loose a lasso of flame and hits the other one hard. It seems trapped by the flames. Collin throws another ball, but breaks another ball in the attempt. Blake tries as well, and actually captures the one on the left. Slasher quickly attacks the trapped bird with a clever feint and knocks it unconscious.
Blake smiles, thinking, Well done, my friend... well done. Come here, and I'll patch you up. Hearing Collin's request, Blake nods, saying, "Sounds good to me. They're pretty fierce fighters, it seems. You alright?" Handing the Staravia's ball to the other trainer, Blake takes the empty Pokeball and slips it in his pocket, pulling out a potion and spraying it over the Litwick.
Spoiler
Blake uses a Potion on Lux for (2d12+10)[17] healing.
