Nodding, Blake says, "Apparently, they've set themselves up in the greenhouses. Though, this Malcolm guy... was on fire. Should... should we be worried that there's some guy who seems to light himself up like a candle in the greenhouse district at all?" Blake's tone is a combination of nervousness and bewilderment, as his medical studies have always indicated that for a person, being set on fire is a bad, bad thing.
A concerned look crosses Joan's face as she considers the information. "Like I said, he was a strange man. I'll have a chat with Anna about it and see if she can shed some... light... on the situation."

"Right..." Blake says, not noticing the pun due to his own confusion over the man's abilities. "Anyway... we'll get going, then." Turning to leave, he smiles at the newest member of the group. "I don't believe I introduced myself... Blake Denos. It's nice to meet you."
Collin turns to the new girl and says, "Greetings, I am Collin Brady. Nice to meet you. I feel that your presence on this mission will be more of a blessing than we could anticipate. The Earth just gives me a feeling on this..."
Mueki bowed quickly. "I'm Suifu Mueki, it's a pleasure to meet you both. Um... This is Matowaritsuku." The Ekans hanging from her shoulders flicked his tail, gazing at them lazily. "If we're going to the beach, I would like to catch another Water Pokemon or two while we're there, I don't think the water mains will stay on forever."
She thinks for a moment and turns to Joan. "Is it possible we could get some extra food and medical supplies to take with us? I would like to give them to the survivors as a show of good faith." At the thought of helping people, Mueki grew more determined and stood a little straighter.

"a roof eh? good thing I got some rope" comments dave at the mission with a slight chuckle, at mueki dave says "I have a psyduck egg in my room it should hatch in few more days so that makes 2 fountains so far, also if they are in the hotel district they are probably sitting on plenty of food from raiding the attached restaurants, but I agree that meds should help with negotiations" and finally as if he suddenly remembered some thing dave says to collin "before I forget take these" he gives collin the 2 batteries "found them yesterday in the school"
changing subject Dave says to Blake and Collin"It might be the same group the raider mentioned though I doubt she would be happy to see us again so soon"

"considering we almost got mugged earlier today I would say the gym is probably the safest place for it at least until it gets close to hatching, but when that time comes I would definitely appreciate the help" responds Dave
"If so, then she's no less of a looter than we are. I dearly hope we don't meet her again. It sounds like diplomacy is required and I doubt I could manage to be polite." Collin still seethed at the edges over her high-handed bullying tactics.
"I'm not really any better." says dave looking down "I was going to give up one of my best friends the only mon I caught who ever came willingly and one I directly promised to protect if she came with me. Under some delusion of sacrificing morals for the greater good. I'd be slipping down the same path of delusional nobility as her, and I don't know where that would have taken me. what I would be like. If you hadn't jumped in." he then looks up "But I don't wish the destination of that path on anyone so if we do find her again I'm going to try and save her. the world as we know it only ended less than a day ago its not so far gone to not give out second chances yet."

Blake nods, and says, "I do agree with letting Mueki do the talking, whether she's there or not... though if we offer what medical aid we can, it should go a long way towards solidifying our efforts if she is there."
Joan considers Mueki's idea before saying, "No. I'm sorry but you'll have to rely on your wit and charms for this one. If they were to take the food and not join us then it would simply be a loss. I have too many people here relying on me to allow that."
Feel free to leave. It's about 1:30 PM. Everyone roll a 1d100 for their travelling as well. I'll find some sort of encounter that encompasses all of your rolls into it.

Mueki summons her Ryhorn, pulling out a thick blanket from the bag and settling it on his back before mounting, an impromptu saddle She pats the Pokemon on the head before having it head out, whistling a jaunty tune.

Blake turns to head out with the group, releasing Bastet to accompany him for the trip. "Hello, there," he says to the feline Pokemon, smiling. "Looks like you're with me from now on."
Dave triumphantly pulls out and unfolds his new oddly colored bicycle straps his flash light to a convenient mount on the handle bars should he need it while riding, and calls out slasher who rides on daves shoulders.
The four of you leave the gym and make your way towards the beach. Despite three of you having bikes, Mueki's Rhyhorn slows you down to normal walking pace. Which turns out to be good. An hour into the trip someone notices a thin line of webbing across the street between two piles of rubble. Had you been barreling along on your bikes, it's more than likely one of you would have triggered the trap. Be that as it may, you all hear a slight rustling from off in the darkness.

Blake looks around, his thoughts flashing back to the attic of the trainer's school as he sees the strand of webbing. "Bastet... be on your guard," he whispers.
"looks like we are about to hit 50 slasher" Dave pulls out his p-gear and looks around hoping it notices something he doesn't in the dark. slasher tenses up ready for anything.
Collin's earthy thoughts lead him along a strange path, mentally. To the point where the silver strand between the piles of rubble stands out remarkably bright in the light. He stops just short of riding right into the trap and thus is one of the few to notice the small yellow worms crawling towards the group. Mueki is the only other to notice the pokemon and it's no surprise to her, as she recognizes that the trap is a distraction.

Mueki saw several of the Bug Pokemon, and calmed down. At least they weren't Spinarak... She tossed out Matowaritsuku's Pokeball at the one to the west, commanding a quick, "Wrap him up!" The Ekans coiled about his foe, squeezing tightly.

Collin throws a rock, a trusty method of attack that has served him well in the past. However, this is the present, and his attack misses. Mueki releases Mato and tells him what to do, but before he can move, the bugs start attacking.
One attacks Bastet by firing off a poisonous stinger, hitting for 10 damage, it then moves a bit closer. Another of the bugs seems to choose Slasher over Maia and fires off a stinger as well, this one hitting for only 2 Damage. The one closest to Mato tries to emulate it's companions but the stinger it fires bounces off the snake's scales, dealing no damage. The bug across from that one reaches the same results with a shot at Slasher. One of the farthest of the yellow crawlers tries to rope a stringy thread around Mato, but it falls short. The bug instead inches closer. The last of the bugs doesn't even try to attack and instead it crawls closer to the fight.
Then Mato starts moving and he wraps his scaly body around the closest bug, trapping it and himself, but dealing damage all the same. Maia takes her time, but eventually moves towards one of the bugs and forces herself to become more dense.
