"no stairs yet looks like my wallet stays clean for now" dave then scans the psyducks, duckletts, wingulls, and any member of their evolutionary families crammed in that hallway as he tries to make his way through
Spoiler
what else could they be? we haven't seen any mundane animals before now it would be kinda odd to start
Those who scan the creatures in the hall have 'Ducklett' and 'Pelipper' registered. The pokémon do not appear to be hostile, and just seem to go about their business as the humans pass them by.
Spoiler
Wisdom checks. For future reference, I do not recall ever seeing non-pokémon animals in any form of pokémon canon, so I'm not about to use them myself.
Collin will eye the pokemon with interest. However, he keeps in mind that a diplomatic mission isn't likely to go well if they catch him fighting with feral birds to catch.
Mueki smiled as she scanned and observed the birds, quite enamored by their charm. "Awww, aren't you handsome?" She noted they were Water types and grimaced. "I only have two more Pokeballs, I should save them for now. I'll be back soon little duckies..."
Tearing her attention from the waterfowl, after idly noting they could be a viable source of meat if something goes south, she peered around for the stairs or another door.
Wisdom (1d20+4)[18]

Blake looks around, scanning the assorted waterfowl Pokemon as he goes. "I know what you mean," he responds to Mueki, "All I've got left is a Dusk Ball. Speaking of which, Dave, think you'll be able to fix up a broken ball for me at some point?"
"I'm a little mentally spent when it comes to fixing balls for now, but I have 3 basics, 1 great, and 2 ultras, and I can probably take the easy way out and cannibalize the broken ones for working parts in a pinch so I have plenty to spare if anyone needs a ball don't be afraid to ask"
Mueki can hear growling up ahead. It seems to be coming from somewhere beyond visual range. As you go further in, the number of Ducklett and Pelipper also seem to slowly decline.
Collin is too busy thinking of the Earth, its measure, and its will. He has this nagging feeling that all pokemon are connected to the Earth, and that it should be possible to unlock this connection for all of them.
Shortly after, the end of the hall comes into view, the door at the other end broken off. Dave thinks he sees something run past the door, but he can't be sure he actually saw anything.
"I don't know it seems he is often on the receiving end of a type advantage and he does just fine" says Dave jokingly again as he waits for mueki to pick up the pace before following as well.

Mueki panics for a moment as Colin rushes past her, putting a hand to her chest to still her heart. It's only when Dave looks at her expectantly did she advance, lagging behind the group with her Dratini leaning forward eagerly.

As Collin rushes through the door, he quickly notices some very large, very angry looking serpents. When the others get in, they spot the angry pokémon as well, and it is clear that they will become pokémon food should these things have their way.

I think those are the correct mons for everyone. Part of what took this post so long was making sure I had the right mons out. Dave and Mueki can do their mon's actions in the same post as their trainer actions, as long as they don't swap for something slower.
Edit: @Plans: That's fine, assuming you mean Defense Curl. She doesn't know Harden.
Dave whispers "Mueki now would be a good time to pull out some really good distracting sushi" he looks for an exit besides the entrance hopefully one big enough for the four of them but to small for the mons. if it is obvious that charming the beasts with feats of culinary aptitude won't work in a million years dave will instead do all the offensive combat stuff(no point typing it out if it isn't needed though)
Mueki's mind did a reboot when she saw the large sea serpents. She had no idea what these things were or what they could do. She reflexively scans one, but otherwise does not move. Murasaki was made of sterner stuff however and summoned it's electricity to Thunder Wave the closest one.

Dave sees another battered-down door on the other side of the room (behind A5). Aside from that, the only way out appears to be the door you came in from, behind Mueki. It seems highly unlikely that presentation of alternate food options will stop the pokémon, especially with the party's chef paralyzed in fear.
Dave scans and throws a knife at the closest serpent "do your stuff slasher, collin get that door over there open!" slasher instinctively springs to H2 and follows through with a faint attack

Blake scowls, stepping back as he scans the Pokemon, and says, "Pel... Poison Sting. And make it count..." The Weedle fires off a stinger at the serpentine Pokemon nearest the group in response.
Spoiler
Blake moves back to J6. Pel will attack G3 with Poison Sting.
Pel: Poison Sting v G3 - AC: (1d20)[8] v 2 + Phys Evasion(Poisons on 17-20 on AC), (1d6+8)[14] Poison Damage plus (1d6+3)[6] on Crit.
One of the serpents is struck by Dave's knife, as Slasher moves in to strike, shortly followed by a wave of electricity from Murasaki. After watching the party attack one of their own, the serpents lunge at Collin and Maia, sinking their fangs into both of them, while the injured one attempts to strike back as well, but is stopped by the paralysis inflicted by Murasaki. Pel's stinger strikes the injured serpent as well, while Maia responds to the attack by curling up into a more sturdy state.

Blake pulls out the black Pokeball he found earlier, thinking, Please let this work... before hurling it at the paralyzed Pokemon nearest the group. "Pel," he calls out, "Hit the one on the right! Poison Sting!" The Weedle fires another poisoned barb, this time at the serpentine Pokemon to the right of the room.
