Collin pulls as hard as he can, wrenching the door from the grip of the ice. On the other side appears to have been a storage room of sorts, however, it is indistinguishable from a walk-in-freezer, thanks to a rather hostile-looking shellfish that is occupying the room.

Mueki immediately recalls Murasaki, not liking the look of the ice everywhere. She scans the Pokemon as she examines it, releasing Punipuni at D3, where he immediately used Defense Curl."It's... it's not carnivorous..." She manages to squeak out, identifying it as a filter-feeder and wondering why it was in a huge building. She then remembered the massive aquarium at the ground floor and figured it out.
"The Pokemon in the aquarium, they've gotten out..."

Blake nods at Mueki's words as he scans the Pokemon, replying, "Seems that way... well, we can handle it. Pel, focus yourself and get ready to fire!" The Beedrill nods, a white glow covering it briefly as it focuses power.
Dang it probably Ice type and he looks angry... again dave swaps nosey for slasher "slasher use faint attack" says dave as he squirms his way to the right and throws a knife

While the rest of the party prepared for a potential battle by swapping mons and increasing their abilities, Dave throws a knife at the shellfish while Slasher moves in to strike, while their target launches a volley of icicles at them, striking Punipuni, Rhea, Slasher, Collin and Dave each with a single icicle.

Punipuni and Rhea curl up to protect themselves.
Mueki gasped and ducked next to the fallen Collin, pulling out a bottle of Enriched Water. She medicates him, healing him of 30 HP. "Puni, use your Encore! Trap him in his next move!"

gahh! ok that hurt and it looks like the knives aren't worth much here but I got to whittle it some more before we can cut it short with a ball dave shifts to E7 and throws another knife "slasher the shells to thick hit it with something special"
Blake scowls as Collin falls, before saying, "Pel, take it down! Fury Attack!" The Beedrill flies over behind the Cloyster and hovers just above it, stabbing furiously with its needle-like arms.

Dave's knife hits a better spot this time, while Slasher taunts the pokémon. Pel fires off a barrage of attacks, piercing through it's hard shell, taking it out before it can fight back any more than it already has. Shortly after, your pokédexes identify it as a Cloyster.

Nodding, Blake will join the others in checking the boxes, taking a moment to recall Pel and release Lux and asking the Litwick to help melt any ice that may prevent them from checking the contents of the boxes.
It seems the cold has ruined most of the contents of the boxes. Mueki finds a Cheri Berry, Dave finds some scraps that look like they might be able to make a single pokéball, and a flashlight that is damaged, but still appears functional, Collin finds a Figy Berry, and Blake finds a Aguav Berry.
Mueki frowns. "Berry storage? It makes sense that the Cloyster would come here, but freezing everything... I guess it wasn't too bright." She shrugs. "We aren't likely to find much that isn't spoiled, we should keep going."

The party makes their way up the stairs, the remainder of their trip uneventful. They reach the top, where there is a metal door. Blake and Dave can faintly hear human voices on the other side of the door.
