Day 11

Once again, the Town Ponies of Whateverville followed Musings. They knew for certain she was a Changling, and that for some reason Discord kept protecting her.

This day though, they had a plan.

They sent a couple of ponies to go after TigerPony, hopefully drawing Discord's attention away from Musings. Batmare and a strange three-legged pony without a name (s/he has a fourth leg made of metal, I think ) ran after TigerPony. Get him! He's a changling!

Just as predicted, Discord floated over the trio and watched as they tried to convince others of his guilt.

Meanwhile, the rest of somethingville threw a bag over Musings and carried her away. They carefully avoided Discord, watching him still hovering over TigerPony and his crowd of sayers of nay as they carried their victim away.

Off to Apple Orchards they ran, intending to tie up Musings, until she confessed to being a villainous Changling. Either way, she would be going nowhere.

Once inside the barn, they dropped the bag, and untied it. But when they opened it, they found.....

Musings (Alarra) has been captured and tied up. She won't be playing this game any longer. She was a Changling.

Elsewhere in Pony Tiara Discord Thisville, the pony formerly known as Sub-Lime stumbles into a dark alleyway. He doesn't recall who he is... or even if he's really a he, or maybe a she.

I guess we'll wait for the AL Replacement to tell us.

Rules for the Days of Chaos

Diego Havoc (Discord) will leave the game in three days, but will continue to live on during his Chaotic Reign. His votes count, but votes against him do not.

Discorded: During the chaos there is a 50% chance that characters who would be killed, are instead "Discorded". Anyone who is discorded in this way and has a vanilla role has an additional 50% chance to gain a random power role for the duration of the chaos, including one that is still active, while players with power roles have a 50% chance to lose them and become vanilla town/changelings and a 50% chance to simply change to a different role. Alignment does not change.

The Terrible Table of Chance: Once per day/night phase, the Narrator will roll randomly for the table's effects and announce the results to the thread during the narration.

I've given the Random Table events names. Each event can only be used once.

Night 11

RAAAWR!!! a mare screamed in frustration. I can't take it anymore! She charged at Discord, bounding in the air once, flapping her wings. Leaping again, flapping her inexperienced wings again. Then throwing everything she has into one last try, and finally taking off, through pure determination.

Up ahead, Discord watched in amusement as the former Earth Pony learned to fly, just a little surprised that she was successful. Oh wonderful! Wonderful!! he clapped enthusiastically. Do you like it? He asked, even as she flew straight at him. *POOF!*

He disappeared just as she was about to tackle the master of chaos. No. I. Don't! she exclaimed, trying hard to fight momentum and turn back around.

Frustratingly enough, as soon as she had succeeded in that, Discord was no where to be found. She looked left, right, behind her, below her.... and then up.

There he was, lazily floating directly above her. Oh, but you're a natural. Soon, you'll be competing with Rainbow Dash.... wherever she's gotten off to. I have a sinking feeling..... *POOF!*

Once again he disappeared as she tried to grab ahold of him. I liked my stripes just as they were! Not to mention, I'm a stallion!

Correction. You were a stallion. There's nothing wrong with being a mare. *POOF!* He reappears in front of the former black and white tiger-striped Earth Stallion. You don't think...... mares are inferior... do you? He looked scandalized by the very thought.

TigerPony gritted her teeth. Noo. But I was happy the way I was.

But surely this is better, isn't it? Discord began lazily floating circles around her. I mean, I gave you wings. Surely, everything else is worth that, right?

No. I was happy the way I was. And stop calling me Shirley.

this brought Discord up short. For a moment, he just stared at TigerPony. then he began to snicker, then a little giggle escaped. Soon it was a gut-busting laugh, including tears and stomach pains. Oh, that's good. That's funny! And with a snap of his fingers, TigerPony was back to his old self.

Way up high, in the sky..... with no wings. It took a moment for this to register. And then he began to fall. AAAHHHH!!!

But at the last moment, TigerPony suddenly sprouted wings. Wings that matched his real black and white coat, and he was able to glide the final few steps to the ground.

Exhausted, and thankful that Discord had not allowed him to fall to his death, TigerPony wobbled his way back home, to sleep the remainder of the game away.

TigerPony (TigerFang) has a traumatic experience, and is no longer able to continue the fight. He was a Town Pony.

As for Discord, well we all know that Diego Havoc got that role, and met his win Condition.

But I don't have any idea what Super Dark's trap is, and don't wish to ruin what he had planned. So, I'll let him write the ending to the Days of Chaos, under one condition:

Super Dark, you are not to kill Discord.

On a second thoug, maybe "FIRE!" was too obvious, and the signal shouldve been "Have a good evening" or "Well that was a nice patch of grass wasnt it?" or "DIE DISCORD DIE", but thats the past, we can only look at the futere now.

more then a dozen sharp metal rods, tied in a rope to their launcher, made Discord their destination, but due to the area's high FAMILY FRIENDLY AURA and NARRATIONAL ARMOR, none managed to actually hit discord.

It was at that moment that Dark spark noticed that he hadnt fired his own harpoon. a one with a tridant head.
Its better to try and miss, then dont try and be a coward.

The tridant flew throw the air like his smaller counterpart, as its non-sharp inside ciuve hit discord on the neck, slamming his head on the ground and locking it there.

Arkh! You fools i can escape this easily!

Discord passed through the hole that held hem as if it was a decent sized door, then he proceeded to grap the tridant and examined it

What was your plan?
attempting to disobey the rules of this universe? THats my thing you know!

All the ponies that ponyed the harpoons now put their small cable carts with bombs on the ropes.
Pure genious. Batmare is full of ideas.

Discord couldnt even react when the bombs hit him, he layd on the gorunds, each limb pointing in other directions, and completly black, just like in the old cartoons.

Attack him while he is still on the ground!

Silver scream had a quarrel with discord to finish. just look at this mess!

All the remaining ponies jumped into battle,

With his remaining powers, Discord could only think of slamming his limbs everywhere, in hope of hitting anypony.

Dark spark rammed and slammed with his burning hooves, Batmare striked with her special fighting style, the count whacked with the flat side of his sword, Grue bay tried to hit with hooves, The yellow pants jumped on discord's head, The three legged pony zapped discord with one of his inventions and Dr. hooves looked from the side, sad that it had to come down to violence.

Aaaahh! enough! i am no longer your mayor! just leave me alone!

Begone! get to wherever you came from! and dont even dare to come back!

Fine fine! just let go of me!
Discord was ashamed. he was surprised by this trap, which measn it was more random then random.

As the ponies got off from discord, he started running, Crashed into the wall to leave a perfect hole in the silhouette of himself.

Alright, time to clean this mess

Voting inky for being so rude to miss 2 days with no AL replacements. How could he! Also, on side, vote me for mayor.

Well I think usourselves&we begging to be lynched is cover for a wolf role, I've seen this done in RL games. It's good reverse psychology, killing somebody who is begging to be killed is obviously a wasted vote, right?

Remember that we still havent killed the Ursa major, so we still need to be carefull.

I don't trust usourselves&we's self-vote either. If he IS the ursa major, then it'll kill two ponies, sure. But reducing things down to just one wolf sounds like its worth two sacrifices. Besides, if the town wants to win, we'll have to kill that role eventually. Isn't it better to off the ursa now while we have an overwhelming majority?

Liiiiitle disappointed that the method for defeating Discord was simply "beat him 'til he cries uncle" but I will admit that it was chaotic, so fair play to you.

He wanders off in the direction of his house, not to be seen again until the end of the game.

Not really our forte, though that itself is a cyclical argument so. . .

In our eyes the vote was being wasted possibly giving powers to the enemy and not killing them good enough, that is all.

Anyways, your almost overly townish behavior will have to wait as there is the point of Istari that Reinholdt is reminding everyone about.

I wouldn't read much into that given 1) the discording and 2) the fact that every other time I've remember seeing even a joking self vote on these forums, they've been lynched fairly quickly and &we's been around long enough to see it.

On the plus side, it looks like the net effect of the days of chaos (as opposed to no chaos) were 2 town ponies discorded, 2 free scries for Grue Bay, 1 free scry for a random person, delaying Reinholdt's actions to around now, any hidden stuff, craziness, confusion and fun. Good times.

Reading stuff, I'm going back to Istari. I wonder who remembers that the chocolate rain also held back Reinholdt's vote until today

Back then, we were pointing at Istari because of the "big names/been around a long time" theory guessed Gninjas chose more experienced players as wolves such as Murska and Castaras. Then the lynch moved to Eternis due to some posts pinging everyone's radar. Since then, we've found out Alarra was a wolf. Also, as bladescape said that say:
