We do not
need it per se. I believe it is used mostly for
convenience and emphasis (such as when I used italicized text a sentence ago). It is easier to recognize who is speaking by
associating the character to a specific
color .

I'll assume that this is the signal to bring the folks together, so I already sent Kagemaru there. Not the exact vicinity, mind you (Kagemaru got a "STAY OUT OR YOU'LL DIE" vibe, after all), but some safe distance away where he could still observe the spherical blackness
