Yay! I'm pulling my weight! I'm pulling my weight! So how many orcs does she see, and is Morton with them? Also, can we just say that Natalia asked Kurt and Valen to retreat if things go bad?

Okay. Can she see what weapons they're also carrying? Is firing a crossbow at them like firing into melee? How encumbered are the orcs and how does that change their modifiers? Sorry if I'm curt, I got up at 5 am for nothing.
Yes, two guards were left with the Orcs to bring thm back.
I'll need a listen from you guys whn you are getting close to them.
@Natalia and Kurt
400' is a very very long shot, well have to get closer. If you fire at the one with Mortin, I'll give it the same modifiers as firing into melee ie -4.

Alright, then Natalia's going to get closer and fire her light crossbow to the one without Morton. Hopefully she'll get sneak attack too. Please post this if I'm not around.

You can't run up and attack, you are 200' away, means two rounds of shooting before it could possible charge you. Assuming they don't run. Ahh, you moved and shot.
No matter what Natalia's Use Rope checks are, they beat both orcs' escape attempts (since she has a +8 bonus and the tier gets an extra +10, since it is easier to tie someone up than to break free). So I take it we reach them without them escaping?

They aren't that smart, they are trying to break free, needing a nat 20.
I hope our luck holds for this fight...Natalia's just going to use hit-and-run tactics; she knows one good hit will kill her while Kurt and Valen are physically tougher.
Coffee, I thought we were done with the "dice hate you" thing after you a) scored a killing crit and b) nailed an important Spot check, just to name two of your most recent rolls.
(Also, maybe you could keep it in spoiler tags, so it doesn't throw off the in-character spirit?)
Alright, alright! I'm just a bit annoyed with the timing, that's all. Also, Natalia's got a bit of an inferiority complex, which is funny since she wants Miriam to snap out of her inferiority complex.
So Natalia is briefly useful, than briefly useless, than briefly useful, than briefly useless?
Funny- that sounds indistinguishable from rolling a d20 and it sometimes hitting and sometimes missing.
Sounds about right to me. And I can tell you, without that spot it was highly unlikely that we would be in this dnd,it right now.

Yes, keep OOC comments to spoilers, and no worries, everything can and still work out. Lucky, both of them have used their rage do the day.

Seems a bit like real life! Everyone was an inferiority complex.
Edit: @Codfee, could you also let me catch up. The orcs still have to go and I'm ridiculously busy at work today.
And why did you move forward? And how did you reload your crossbow, it's a move action?
