The reason I ask is because I am interested if you dealt with the financing separately from the price of the car and the trade in or if the sales guy muddled it up.
I financed. Everything went smoothly with the exception of them being busy and using a new computer system without enough training. Mi have no complaints.
I hope that Miriam dark, depressed, sourpuss mood does not annoy you. I do not believe it will be forever. But right now, seeing the old healer hit her hard. She is 21 and think her life is over. Silly girl!

Yep, I'm ready to move on. Just need to get some horses, and move on.
@Admiral, the mayor is at the center of town with some guards.m random townsfolk, etc. Max is around too, kind of stepping up to help coordinate.
@Natalia How did you obtain a map of Linwood. There are none for sale, etc it is only a small town.

I figured she scouted around the town, asked Max, and then drew it herself. Oh! Does Linwood sell crossbow bolts? She only has 12 left. I guess it can wait to Hulburg if the town doesn't have any.

Scary thought, Mithril is 25. If Miriam feels old she should just think of that. a whole 19.048% of her life's difference.

It is not a number think. She is just in that mold where she cannot see herself with anyone else or mothering children because of the man she worships. That scares her because she is not sure she wants this life but she believes that it is her destiny.

I have never said her view was rational.
She's completely irrational, and as much as Calric might have hurt her, Natalia's right, that poisoned abscess been there for a long time. Lancing and draining it is going to suck, but she's going to have to do it at some point.

Natalia drawing the map herself is okay, right? Let's give Linwood the directions, distribute our items, and get this show on the road!
...How are we gonna do that with so few horses? Shiny's going to have to roll really well for a 25.
Not nearly as awkward as if Hulburg won't give us any help.
Either way, it's going to be bad. At least we can give Hulburg evidence that the orcs and giants are allied against the humans, and so they should ally back.

Fair enough. Next time try and mention it as a probed activity....makes more fun DM opportunities....

I'm sure he would acquiesce to your request.

That would be funny, though not as awkward as not asking for help and the orcs arriivimg.

Sorry, I just wanted to move things along. So now that we've got enough horses, let's get going! Oh, right we need to start the trenches. And does Linwood have crossbow bolts?

Let's not, one forlorn girl in the party is more than enough.

There are bolts somewhere, ask Max, I'm sure he has some around.
Both, is the idea. You have parties working on both projects - this will also clear the forest away from the village to make it easier for them to spot incoming orcs. The trench and dike is probably more important than the palisade, though.

The only problem with a dike as it will be almost impossible to fill. Especially for a town with limited time and people.
