The rather shy young man finally pops out of his cabin. He hadn't really gone out much since his surgery and the discovery of more of those strange cuts across his wrist. Marty shyly walks out into the sunlight and heads over to the old picnic spot he had, overlooking the water.
"Really? Little girls your age or grown up girls?" Justin asks.
"Both," Lily says. "Grown-up girls are... um... " she realizes most of the grownup girl are coupled up already. "... there's Sophie! And, um... Kate! But don't go out on a date with Vidalia. She's mean."
"Sophie and Kate, but Vidalia is mean. Got it." Justin sort of expected it. He knew she probably wouldn't have a list of girls his age. "Maybe I will ask one of them out, but let's put romantic plans on hold for a bit."

Brand laughs. "Don't worry, punkin. Justin will find someone when he's ready. Do you need another sandwich?" He asks Justin.
"Can I have a sandwich?" Lily asks.
"You can go and make your own. You've been playing all morning," Pansy says. "And since Tito is working, you can make one for him too."
Lily starts to whine, but when she sees Tito perk up, she realizes that making two sandwiches really is the better end of the deal compared to peeling potatoes for an hour and slinks off to the kitchen.
Alysha's eyes widen and her mouth forms one of the largest smiles she's had to date. She gives a squeal of glee and jumps in place.
Obviously, she excited about this new development.
A little brother? That's awesome! What's his name? How old is he? Is he here? Can I see him?
At the question, Alysha seems confused for a brief moment. She looks down at herself, thinks, then snaps her fingers as she remembers.
That's right! I rented a room in Trog's so Yuki could take a shower and I could try to wash her clothes, which didn't work out that well, and I must have left my hoodie there!

"Not unless one of you knows how to fix a floor buffer," Justin jokes. He stops for a second to guess the definition of larder. Larder, fat, grease. Stocked. Food stores, maybe? "I don't need much of a larder. It's just me, and I eat day by day anyway."

"My apologies, my vernacular is much improper for these times. I was referring to the act of exploration, not to guided tours."
Smiling, again apologetic, Lucy's eyes brighten in realisation. Quizzically, the living-impaired nurse continues.
"The local coin is named Gold? Great heights, I did not even think of that. Luck be with me that I could pay at the Tavern with Dollars."

A half gold dragon walks up to Rowan cabin and knocks on the door. The residents of the house don't know any gold dragons... or rather they didn't until about midnight last night when Kate was turned into one. Kate is here to see Julie and unwind after waking up a half-dragon and then hunting down the thing that did it and vaporizing it with a laser.
Copi is off somewhere else right now. Not sure where.
"Don't worry, I'll pack meals for them. We can't expect you to feed our brood," Pansy says.
Lily returns with the sandwiches for her and her brother. "Plans for what behind my back?"
Tito takes a huge bite out of his sandwich and talks with his mouth full. "We're going to help Justin clean his new place and then he's going to take us to Dana's!"

Rowan Cabin
Julie opens the door, having been expecting Kate to show up, and half expecting some kind of Nexus weirdness to have followed her, but nothing this bad.
The glowing hair still gives it away as Kate though, and the fashion sense, "Right, so you're the chosen one of an ancient race of flying lizardpeople and must avenge them of their curse of undeath, somehow?" Her first guess, while horribly outlandish, is completely in line with what she knows about Kate's life so far. This has just gotten to the point of lunacy now.
"Nope, while I was sleeping last night a Kami, some kind of spirit, manifested after drawing energy from all the madness that has happened to me and turned me into a half-dragon and my roommate into a Grig. On a completely unrelated angle, I have been notified that I'm a high priestess."
Now the question is, does this make more or less sense than what Julie guessed?
"Well if it's unrelated then I suppose it's okay. Come on in Kate, I've got something for you that is exactly related to this crap." She heads straight for her bedroom, stopping for nothing along the way and expecting Kate to follow her.
Julie will probably notice (or suspect) that Kate is wearing clothes changed to allow a tail and wings. Which implies that she got her hands on these somehow?
In any case, Kate follows with some confusion. She's not sure what Julie would have that fits the situation so well, but she isn't the sort to say that things are connected when they aren't.
