You heard right, GenGame shifted into it's new phase onto its own website, which can be found here.
As the About field states, GenGame is "A user-input driven webcomic set in the future, in which three friends play a videogame, fighting their way through robots, shadow-monsters, and pretentious art in order to achieve the ultimate victory."
The comic is done by averagejoe and me. (Originally AgentPaper, who made room to averagejoe somewhere in the second thread.) It's also MSPA inspired.
It started out in the Gaming (Other) section, was moved over to Fancomics (Yes, i'm still bitter about that, AJ. >_> ) and finally moved to wwsf.net in my own webserver after being well into it's secondthread. (90 pages total, woo!) *party hat*
This thread will be for general discussion. To post a command, that may potentially be used for the next comic, post a reply to the most recent update (Or better yet, go directly to wwsf.net and post it there).
Just gone back through an archive binge on the new site- do you have an RSS feed yet? I can't see one.
I'd second a RSS feed if there isn't one yet. Moving to an actual webcomic format makes it somewhat more accessible to those who don't necessarily want to forum whore their way through. Also makes it easier for me to share the comic with my nerdy friends who otherwise may not want to jump into the Giants forums.
Hurray for new beginnings and acquiring the Mechanofortress!

I'll really need to explore the wiki sometime in the future, just wish the dang thing would accept one of my emails so i could edit it,
Yeah, now that I'm not spending all my time uploading the comic to the new site, I hope to do a little wiki-ing myself.

I'm 90% certain we do, but damned if I can find it. Domochevsky has been doing more of the, "Actually figuring out how to use the website features," side of things. I'll bug him about that today.
So who else did an archive binge with the new format? I did, and I have to say that I forgot completely about SM's failings at walking properly, and that DB dude from the very first update... who also showed up in the >emergency shutdown update. Very mysterious...

Well, I already admitted to an archive binge, but I'd forgotten a heck of a lot of stuff- for example the sheer number of opponents that everyone else managed to defeat whilst SM was still trying to fight those bears.
The binge just doesn't feel the same without any of the accompanying discussion. On the other hand, for future updates, splitting the discussion between both locations should result in some interesting conversation forks?
Let's hope i can whip up some filler in the meantime and do some site optimizations here and there. Make sure to let us know if there are any annoyances and features you'd like to see.
So i just did an archive binge (managed to kill a few hours) and i realised something.
Remember that UNLIT SACRED SWORD OF THE BEARCOLITES we took? We could totally light it using KB's SACRED FLAME and then still have our own to light the beacon. Plus this way there would be no way for him to light it while we run away with our own flame!
IIRC all we need to do is jab the unlit sword into one of the flames, get him to drop the other, then run as fast as we can to the beacon. He won't even be able to light the beacon if he somehow gets ahead of us!
Think we need to wait till we're actually in a fight with him first. he could always run away from him.
Also; i took the liberty of Filling out Gencorp's history on the wiki. It's not pretty, but i like to think i at least added a baisic backbone for others to work on. Could someone look it over and let me know if i missed anything?
Well, now, it seems you've finally managed to get fans so fanatical that they know more about the comic than you do!
