I wasn't pointing a finger, I was just giving an example of how CoDzilla builds can overshadow any melee build. A red flag pops up whenever I see DMM Persist along with Divine Power/Righteous Might and Domain grabbing. A spell that you may want to look into persisting is vigorous circle, Persist works on fixed range spells as well so it qualifies. You'd be a walking healing umbrella XD

That's fine, figured it would happen. Do you have some ability that lets you make attacks without penalty while prone?

I need a DM ruling on a feature of Drink Like a Demon, while I take the penalty of -2 Int & -2 Wis, I can increase Con or Str by +2. My concern is with the +2 Con, while it would increase my hp by 10 per +2 Con score, how would damage affect me after the effects have worn off? Would I take the full amount of damage with my normal Con score and hp, or would I take damage minus the hp that I had with my buffed Con score?

@Bishop: The hp loss would be to your buffed up Constitution score. So if you have 10 extra hp, and the effect wears off, you lose those (on top of every other damage you may have incurred)

Again, anything on whether the outer layer of a bone is Mending-able?

It'd still be weak till the inner stuff that is more definitely alive heals, but it's still better than a bulky splint or cast.

@Tradik: a bone that is still attached to a living creature is considered part of the creature, not an object, which Mending targets specifically. I do, see however the application for mending in this particular scenario. As long as it isn't used to reattach severed heads, go for it!

Thanks. I've actually worked out a small system for improvising spells, such that casters with less spells to work with can try to do a little more with them at risk of minor to moderate botching, based on how much of a stretch it is. Want to see it?

Although Bishop got gutted, it is true that Felix has been an integral part of your party. In fact, he carries with him valuable info for later on.

@Tarith: I hope you read my post a few days back regarding an item you found in the safe at Draen's place. Here it is again, in case you missed it:

@alan I understand what you are saying, but keep in mind how is everyone seeing through a disguise? A magical one no less. I have the ability to be able to automatically get one when I am within the area of it, not everyone else does though. Morbis Meh In the end we were not there when you turned in to your form so we did not know it was you, we know you as a troll. And saying you did not say the form that I used to use with my old companions we had no idea that it was you realistically. Hey look everyone its a viking. Thats basically what you would have gotten out of me. If I was the one that found you in the room and did not pass the will save. You choose to not have him wake up, thus you could not say it was you before drunk decided against better judgement to try and steal from you thinking you were dead. Just be happy he didn't throw you off the bed and jump in it or poke you with a stick.

I will back out from the game, I just don't feel it with the party and as for the whole disguise thing, you would know what he looks like because he would make himself look like a larger version of his human self and he is not a cave troll. So I could care less what happens now have fun and move on.

You travelled with me for 10 years you know me more as than a troll I would not have the ability in my younger years to hold this form for an entire day.

But that does not mean that we would know that it is you. If your best friend looked like an old man one day when you saw him completely different and was good at makeup and such and he normally it was out of his norm, or more to the point something that as far as you know he has never done before would you know it is your best friend. O wait the TV show Faceoff already answered that for me, the answer is no you would not. Are we suppose to go up to everyone and ask if they are you? I understand that in earlier years you could not hold a shape as long, but think as far as we all know your race is troll. Unless that is wrong the character sheet would never open. In the end just next time if we all get separated just say I go into a form I used when I was with my party, that way we know and don't have this problem.

Yeah, I'm with Morbis on this one. I don't think he actually said anywhere that he was disguised, to be honest.

The only descriptions that I got about the character in the bed was the it was a large figure, it came off as just some guy, not a friend that I surely would have recognized.

Also I gave him ample chances to wake up, or do something. I yelled at him, nope still sleeping, doesn't even make a listen check to see if he heard it. Then I threw a flash pellet, in his face, it burst into light and apparently his character didn't wake up from that. I figure that if I started to loot his that he may decide to wake his character up from his coma, and it did.

The only reason that I kept bothering him was to get his character to join the party.

Maybe I went about it the wrong way, but what else was I supposed to do? Ignore him and leave him out of the party?

I'm not trying to pick a fight, just explaining my reasoning. I really just want everyone to be able to adventure together. Whatever way we managed to find each other, so be it. Yes I got attacked by another PC, so what, let's move on.

He used the hat to make him look like a tall human...that would be a disguise.

Greetings! There is a post where Felix and Bishop exchange pleasantries, indicating that they have identified each other. I was hoping the others would catch on and get reacquainted. I, personally, would like for Felix to stay in the game.

As would I

@Morbis Meh I have now for 2 or 3 post straight tried bringing your character into the party, as has bishop before. So can you please reply, its not like you are not on, for the past 2 hours I have been seeing you on. If you still want to play then lets go we are waiting for you, but if you are dropping out ( not what I want you to do by the way) then please let us know so we are not just standing around looking like idiots, I even used your spell suggestion.

Hows post coming alan?
