Re: [Steam]-y Thread XXX: Throwing titles out the window!
So the new Worms game is very tempting, mainly because of the Worms Armegeddon on Steam that it seems you can't get anywhere else, what do you guys think?
If you're ever in a situation where you can't survive, go for the broke and fill all of creation with chickens. Just imagine the reaction of people halfway around the world when every square inch of space in their world is suddenly and completely full of chickens.

Decorate it how?
Plus, at least Philaterer at least does something for others. Dueler juswt wastes money. That said, I once popped off a huge collection of Duel games I gathered for months in hopes of getting a Dueler - won 84 duels and didn't got it :(
Btw, would someone be up for some MvM later today?

Re: [Steam]-y Thread XXX: Throwing titles out the window!
Appearenty, a new MMORPG has recently joined steam to be F2P!
so i decided to try it out.
While downloading i looked at what people said:
Game crashes! bugs! Launcher wont work!
and after 2 hours of downloading and 2 minuets of installing, the game was set.
'No problems yet' i said to myself.
alright, lets creat a charecter.
4 available classes, 2 male only, 2 female only, with the male ones are Physical, one warrior one archer, while female are magical, one "shaman" and one "witchblade" that can fight melee.
i then checked the community again, and some were whining about "the new Pay to win".
so yeah, i dont think ill get into this game any time soon...

Which of the two should I buy?
Sam & Max are very much a one-time playthrough kind of game. There are some split choices, but in the end, the solution is generally the same. Replaying it to hear the same jokes again isn't very appealing, either.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is an extremely strong sequel to an extremely good game. You can really play it however you want: an infiltrator who spills no blood, a hacker who will charge around turning the security against his foes, a silent assassin who can pick enemies off but avoids big fights, or the classic guns-and-grenades Adam Jensen.
It's a great prequel with a lot of replay value through how you approach the game in terms of playstyle, and then in terms of dialogue. Some powers will let you get through dialogue with interesting outcomes, like an Augment that produces pheromones to influence opinions of others. Should you choose to use said pheromones on a certain (friendly) character, they take notice of it, and threaten to beat you up.

Though I can't speak to the Sam and Max series, I second this assessment of the Deus Ex HR. In fact I will go on to say that it is better than the original.
It rewards exploration well. The hidden stories and items add a great depth to the game. And the humor is amazing. Has everyone here read the "Concerning Chairs" email? or discovered the real reason why there is 4 or less emails in every inbox?
Spoiler
"Remember, it's not just a good idea. It's the law." but truely it's so they can save money on the salaries of the people whose job it is to read everyone's email.

Yes, and I love finding and reading all of the emails.
I love HR, but I don't think I can say its better then the original, at least there the boss fights fit better and was not always mandatory.

Heh heh, as a player you can't, but if those hats were real, there's nothing to stop someone from making a Philateler clone.
Maybe it's harder to obtain the Dueler because it's possible to get the minigames for free, while the other two cost real money.
Does anyone have suggestions for a good game or few that can run on OS X?

Invest in hacking. In the second-to-last mission, there's a hidden terminal just before a rocket of notability. You need to crouch into a small vent, tossing aside what I believe is a large object with your super-strength, and hack a terminal.
Inside just so happens to contain a terminal from Hangar 18. What, you thought it was Hangar 18 in the first game? Hell no, it's thatHangar 18!

Free? How?
As for game, last good OS X exclusive was Marathon and Wolfenstein 3D, I think ^^
Also! I have a few people with 5/6 of Mann Up completed so far. We can freely play and lend you a hand in completing your own Tour of Duty before finishing last mission. Anyone interested?

Drops. Also, you're forgetting Nanosaur.

I would love to but I am unfortunately as broke as a joke and can't get any tickets.
Re: [Steam]-y Thread XXX: Throwing titles out the window!
Any suggestions on how to beat the harder levels of MvM?

I like coming up with concepts for characters, and will do so often. But writing up crunch, especially for anything that isn't level 1, takes me a while, and after wasting lots of time writing unused characters on Mythweavers, I generally don't make a sheet unless a DM really likes the concept. Sorry.
