A quantum leap is the change of an electron from one quantum state to another. It does this without appearing to move through the points between the two states.
Common parlance being what it is, thinks that it's something completely different.

Regard Buying Team Fortress crate keys at the store. I buy crate keys from the store when I want to activate a new account. Because Keys are more easily liquidated than dirty hats or tickets or backpack expanders. This practice is likely a main source for keys.

Hi everybody!
I'm new here - my friend recommended me this forum as a good place to start looking for people who'd play some multiplayer games with me; people who'd be friendly towards noobs and wouldn't kick them out of their games the instant they join.
I started playing some Steam games (namely Portal 2 and L4D2, among others) this summer and I must admit I'm an achievement who... *cough* achievement hunter. I'd like to have them all unlocked xD
As such, I need people to play with as some of the achievements require cooperation. Is there anybody who'd like to help me unlock Still Alive in Portal 2?
Or play some L4D2, maybe help me learn how to play infected in VS/Scavenge and earn some achievements as well? Strength in Numbers is a kind of a long shot as it requires 8 players, but maybe something like Tank Burger, Wedding Crasher or Connecting Fights?
Or at least some casual gaming? I'd be up for L4D2 and Team Fortress 2. My nickname at Steam is the same as here - feel free to add me to your friends and msg if you want to play :)

I'm playing Magicka now. Yeah, Even when I buy a game on release it still might take me 2 years to get around to play it.
So two years from now I will bore you all with the fabulous game known as FTL.
Anyway, I'm completely addicted and with the navi addition, it certainly helps playing solo, which i enjoy. I discovered that I have several dlc robes and have been fooling around with them. Does anyone have a favorite? The space marine is an odd game. I have a Staff of War which seems to stack with the robe in health boost and resistances.

I'm feeling like airing my thoughts on crates and why people open them, so here I go
I see opening crates as a matter of currency conversion. Real world currency can be converted into TF2 currency by buying keys through the store. TF2 currency can be coverted into real world currency by selling unusuals (mainly). For most players, the only way to get an unusual (and as such recoup some of the time/money put into the game) is through uncrating. Uncrating stranges is something of a stopgap measure, encouraging people to keep uncrating and maintaining the ingame price of keys, since a player must be willing commit the full cost of a key before uncrating, but they get some of their cost back in stranges.
