Planeswalker for being under me.
Oh right, its above for you.
What to Rp.....
Superdark was the bartender and innskeeper in the town's only inn.
It was a great place for people to gather for drinks and food and many people liked to come there.
MANY PEOPLE.

Well to my understanding no one is aware of who is on each other's team (except for masons) correct?
But since the Executioner is town by letting him decide we've got slightly better odds of hitting a wolf vs a purely random lynch. I mean we can still discuss things anyways right?
If someone actually has an idea then yeah lets talk about that and explore it.

TigerFang was one of the "MANY PEOPLE" that liked to come to the inn for a good drink and a warm meal. He was a retired war vet that didn't have a lot of things with which he could occupy his time so he ended up frequenting the inn. Usually the village was dreadfully boring but with the recent murders it made for some interesting speculation amongst the locals. Some even wondered who would replace the mayor.
If Ramsus was so keen to take the old man's seat then Tiger wasn't going to stop him.

Oops I may have "voted" for the mayor with the wrong color.

and proposing something which leaves us with no voting patterns to analyze and thus be able to figure out much of anything IS good for the town?

think long-term.
I'm just thinking about today only, since everyone seems to be voting randomly.
If everyone is voting randomly since the only group who knows who is who is the Mansons then there won't be a voting pattern. Actually if everyone is voting randomly then it's a moot point since the Executioner would decide who gets killed anyways.

Superdark threw a small stone, of the type he was saveing for tossing at non pleasent people, at the insalter.
the throwing axe missed the target, hit the wall with the handle and fell on the floor, joining all the other stones that are there.
Superdark ussualy threw stones at people he thought were unpleasent for being unpleasent and scareing people out of the inn, but his aim was never enough and he always slightly missed the targets with his axes.

Everyone SAYS they're voting randomly. That may or may not be true.
That doesn't mean that there won't be some where a pattern develops over time with day 1 as the first day of the pattern. Keep in mind that we had a night period at first so the seers have had a chance to scry someone.
Today's votes for today won't mean much, no. But they establish the first piece of a pattern to help future analysis that's completely shot for today if everyone just goes with "no vote" on day 1. There's NO benefit to leaving it up to the executioner today. Better to start the first layer of what will develop into a voting pattern.
Hmmm. I'd say both ways have their merits. About equally too. Still, generally better to keep active and vote, otherwise people without power roles tend to stop thinking and just leaving things to others.

Well it's not like I'm being inactive about my non-vote right?
I see you're point about if everyone just says no vote then we don't get any information. But in my specific case I've explained my reasoning behind my vote which should help in people making judgement calls about if I'm town or scum later on.
Also are you sure the seers got a scan? I mean it was all in one post so it wasn't like anyone got an opportunity to send in actions.

That is almost never a good idea. It stops anything from happening, which means there is nothing to analyze or talk about, which means the wolves win.
usourselves&we, for taking up two spots in the role list (through no fault of his own, but then, players don't choose to be wolves either).
That makes sense. Or not. Anyway, I think I never pointed at usourselves&we till now so I just begin with it.

No lynch with discussion sounds great for town at first glance. The problem is, town has nothing substantial to discuss so everything is from a meta standpoint. Since roles are assigned randomly, this means that who looks suspicious from a pure discussion is independent of who is a wolf.
However, add just a little pressure to the wolves and you start to make progress. The voting patterns are utterly necessary to create just the smallest shadow of context, which can then be interpreted.

Wrong. We still have deciding votes in ties, we just don't count for the minimums.
Also, Count Dingdong for providing a deliberately misleading interpretation of the rules.

But a wolf is just as easily want to point that out to look town so planswalker for being most vocal about it, and hey that ties the votes at this time.
Hmm, Lex-Kat for mayor, as she took our point.

I've read this post three times and I still have no idea what you've actually said.
Please explain it in another way. Hopefully that will help.
