Hullo, and thank you for looking at my thread! I hope you'll like some of what you see here - I'll be posting drawings and doodles and little animations that I have made. Let me start by introducing one of my characters.
Meet Grok:

Thank you for the kind response, Domochevsky! The second one is from a fictional journal by a fictional character, which is why it differs in style from the others. I definitely prefer Grok in stick figure form as well.
Here are some of the forum signatures I have made for friends and random strangers over the last few years years...first, Star Wars: The Old Republic:

I've been wracking my brains since I first saw your comic strip as to what it reminded me off and it's just clicked. It reminds me a lot of the graphical style of Machinarium (the 2D adventure game with the little robot). Both are really delightful. ^_^

Please get that poor mouse some real cheese please.
I would like that, yes please,
really any cheesy scrap would do,
stinky, smelly, runny-yummy cheese,
dry and mouldy - that works too.
And if I had a real piece,
'stead of doodles scattered on the floor,
it would really put my mind at ease,
my tummy wouldn't rumble anymore.

Very rushed but the whole "being chained to a wall in a cheeseless dungeon being forced to draw for an evil feline mistress"-thing was really bugging me:

I just wanted to stick my head in here to say that CheesePirate, your art is very charming --your hand drawn style is reminiscent of old childrens' picture books I might have read as a child.

Wow, your art is awesome, CheesePirate. I just got finished binging your comic too. Great stuff.
Thank you, Gulaghar!
I finished another pirate avatar:

One pretty important details, which you can probably spot on my current avatar are the blue lines on her face. Those represent her dragonmark. I don't expect you to draw it in ful, just ad a line here and there on her face, like Kris did, so it's obvious.
Edit: Here's a bigger version that Mordokai just requested, it doesn't quite look like the smaller one since I did a lot of touching up and a few bigger changes after shrinking it - this big version has been through some quick and dirty edits to add major changes made to the finished avatar:

Someone who knows Machinarium! Yay!

Is there a link to the webcomic or isn't it for free? I already love Grok and his adventures.

It's for free, and can be found here: http://cheesepirate.com/comics/index.html - it started out as an "Everquest II" (an MMORPG by SOE) comic some years ago but hopefully those of you who haven't played that game can still get some entertainment out of most of the strips.
I've been away from my computer for a few days, but I made some pen and paper drawings for my youngest niece, who is almost 5 and likes to colour in the things I draw:

Upon seeing that, my mind started wondering what you'd bait a trap with in order to catch cheese...
I mean... If you could trick it into falling into a hole in the ground, it wouldn't be able to escape!
Pirate Lord Magtok, Arutema the nixie, Heliomance the steampunk air pirate, Nate the Snake, Crisis 21 (Eric Greenhilt) with Captain Kneenibble the budgie.
