Welcome, you strange and wild creatures, to the OOC. This post will contain various important informations for your purposes. I'm going to be throwing up World info relatively soon. For now, let's review our cast.
Starke, the Half-Giant Lion, played by Fredaintdead!
Crisal Wildclaw, the Halfling Shapeshifting Warrior, played by The Crash Man!
Therro Hain, the Lesser Aasimer Jed-sorry, Warlock, played by Amaklue!
And last but not least, the Wolf Queen Sonya, played by Lix Lorn!
Now, a brieft aside for each of you alone.
Cadmael/Wyntonian:
Spoiler
Your dreams have been pulling you in two directions. One shows a huge eagle, with blood dripping from it's talons and a cruel light in it's eyes, flying to Crossroads Island, where it lands and meets with six other, insubstantual animals.
The second simply shows a spring, deep in the woods, wherein lies three great monoliths.
You have chosen, for now, to follow the second dream. After all, you know the spring well enough. It is in a forest not far from where your tribe normally lives, near the base of a local mountain range. Though you've not visited it, Arthur Derwydd had, and he spoke of it as a place where the Spirit World and the Material World joined as one. Perhaps you will find answers there.
Ainariël/whoiam:
Spoiler
You fled your homeland following that rather clever escape. Working the trade routes between Crossroads and Malthan, you made quite a pretty penny. Sure, sometimes the ship you were on had to sail very fast indeed-Orcs and Elves have never been on the best of terms, after all-but it's been a good life.
Lately you've been feeling a strange urge though. A pull, as though the very earth beneath your feet were guiding you somewhere. Further inland, towards a range of mountains in the distance. Using the same tricks you used to avoid slavers all these years, you made your way towards a forest at the base of the mountains. There is something here-something a local tribe of Orcs is very interested in.
Starke/Fredaintdead:
Spoiler
You've spent your life protecting those weaker than you. Wandering the planes of Malthan with your faithful companion Lucy, your noble heart has always known you had a grand destiny ahead of you. All up and down Malthan, you've fought the corruption left after the release of Morteregis. You've beaten back those who would take advantage of the remaining pure places. But now, something is calling to you. Back to the mountains where your father came from. Back home.
It's been a long time.
Crisal/The Crash Man:
Spoiler
It had to happen eventually.
Even after your manhood ritual, the tribe continued to prove hostile towards you. Though you had a friend in Nux, and a father figure in Forstspear, the constant teasing and barbs grew enough to prompt you to leave in search of your father. Journeying to Crossroads Island, you asked around, and found your father had last been seen captaining a ship headed for Malthan. So you have found yourself on that cursed continent, and something has drawn you to a range of mountains, and the forest which lies under their shadow. Perhaps your father went in search of the legendary Spirit Spring that is supposed to lie within these woods? Only one way to find out.
Therro/Amaklue:
Spoiler
"Then by the powers invested in me by the Father of Sky, I pronounce you Master Hain!"
You'd finally done it. After years of training, you were a Jedi-sorry, a Skysworn Master. It was a fantastic feeling. Truly, you were among the elite now.
But your joy was short lived. You recieved a dream. It was short, simple, and to the point. You needed to go to Malthan. The Father of Sky, to whom your temple was dedicated, requires your presence in a grove sacred to him, concerning a matter of grave importance. The elders have all agreed that you must go there-alone. So, you've flown to Malthan, and were surprised to find the wood heavily warded against flying creatures. So you set down in the trees, avoiding orcs and wolves, you've begun searching for this spring. But why would a place sacred to the Father of Sky prevent you from flying to it?
Sonya/Lix Lorn:
Spoiler
Welcome. We're finally here, eh? I hope this turns out to fufil your expectations.
Sonya has known nothing but the wilderness all her life. It's been a pretty simple existance, hunting with her pack, keeping them safe, trying without success to teach them some of the skills she's learned. There's always been one part of your pack's home wood that they've urged you not to go to, however. Near the center, a grove with a spring bubbling up. They don't know why they avoid it, it just feels wrong. But today, your curiousity has gotten the better of you.
What a beautiful place.
So, welcome to Grand Apush. Get ready for subtle intrigue, fierce battle, world-wide conflict, cold wars, ancient magics, and enough humor to make your sides split. Claim your colors, and expect an IC shortly.

I normally use Dark Orchid, but that's not really an option thanks to Lix beating me to it:(
My backup colour is Sea Green. Is that different enough from Dark Green? Or do I need to pick a third colour... A nice Blue, I think. Cyan. No, too light. Deep Sky Blue. That looks more like it... Deep Sky Blue will do, then.
So, I've got Lucy up to 'Indifferent', and since I cannot fail the check to go Indifferent->Friendly (and Friendly->Helpful is only a 3+ for me), in a couple more minutes we ought to be as good as old friends:)
Does anyone mind if I edit my response a lil' bit? Nothing major, just how I phrase it. It's what I would have done if I had thought it through for a moment longer.

Well, aside from the colors(green for Mother Earth, storm gray for Father Sky, navy blue for Lord Oceanus), feel free to describe them yourself.
Also, the runes have faded away, so your characters might not have gotten a good look at them. The runes will only be visible when you want them to be, or an overload of divine energy has occured.

Seems legit. I know little to nothing of human politics, IC or OOC, so let's head out soon and get literal. PbP isn't really the best medium for abstract discussion.

You are roughly three days journey from the nearest port town. From there, you can pretty much wherever you need to go, especially with the elf's connections.

Guys, I put way too much effort into building Cadmael to have this die before we even get to lay the smack on something. Let's go.
If Sonya/Lix Lorn is gone or unwilling, I know Malthan, I'll guide us. I'll do so in 18 hours.
Sorry dude, Lix was away from her computer for a few days, but she's back now (as she's stated). Sorry if you felt like things had ground to a halt, they most assuredly haven't (to the best of my knowledge).

Ainariel and Crisal would both know from their journies that passage to Crossroads would cost roughly 20 gold a person. Others are free to attempt a DC 15 Knowledge Geography, Local Malthan, or Local Crossroads to also know that.
