Coolio. Going to make a fairly epic introductory post.

Due to my decision to leave this forum, due to not being able to go more than 5 minutes without getting yelled at or saying something stupid, this game will not be running.

Someone else can take over as a DM if they wish. I'm gone.

*blink* ...well that escalated quickly. I hope you the best, but, damn, I was looking forward to seeing what a completely randomized campaign would be like.

Sorry, but I just can't keep living on like this. Every other post I'm in a heated debate or something that makes me want to throw my laptop against the wall.

The campaign was probably going to suck anyway. I suck as a DM. Always have, always will. I suck as a player, I suck as a storyteller, story writer, story ANYTHING.

*Sighs* Just two more campaigns left to go. Once I've confirmed those players have gotten the leaving warnings, it's time to alter my password, wipe my browser history, and never look back.

Come to think of it. I've been forgetting my sanity medications now that I think about it. Can I just take a break from DMing for 3 days and try to get my mind back into "sane" area? Last time I forgot this stuff, I considered murdering someone for money reasons.

No I'm not bloody joking, when I am off my meds I am completely unstable.

I will return in 3 days and report on my stability, and decide the fate of the campaign then.

Yeah, that's cool with me. Real life comes before games anyhow. See you in a few days.

As an aside; I don't argue with the DM, so you won't have to worry about that with me. According to the rulebooks, the DM makes the rules, so arguing with him or her is pointless anyways...

Thanks for understanding. You're free to argue against me, so long as you can back it up, and aren't trying anything stupid. Saying that I screwed up how much damage a succubus's claw does and directing me to the MM is one thing. Arguing some game-breaking or story-breaking combo, is something I'll probably overrule, unless it's something I find very amusing.

As you can tell as a DM I'm kinda chaotic neutral. Actually being insane doesn't help. But me being off my rocker isn't going to improve my game, and it more than likely will end with me TPKing your party in a rage cause some player said something totally rational.

Once I'm stable again, I'll report back, start the game, and we can talk about some kind of payment.

Are you quite sure?

In any case, I'm fine with this. Inasmuch as "I'm not going to argue."

Do what you must. We will be here if you (hopefully) decide to continue this.

And remember, there is no such thing as a bad DM, just stories that went a completely wrong direction.

Go ahead if you want. Maybe do some P2P interaction if you want. I'm feeling better, but I think I'll wait 1 more day.

Now I do have a question GM. Considering that I'm basically Dragon-themed, and yet you had a no-no to specifying yourself with anything before you rolled on your tables, are there dragons in this world? Also, am I a "normal" thing to be seen, a mechanical humanoid-shaped dragon-thing with a dragon head, big dragon wings, fire breath on tap, and all the other stuff that goes into me being draconic and warforged in nature?

There's probably basically everything SOMEWHERE in this random world. There were definitely dragons in your OLD world. Now the only question is how long does it take for me to roll any dragon related on the random table, or you cross into an established world that does have them.

Next question: can I fall out of the sky and unfold from the egg like a transformer? :D

It's mostly to make sure no one knows ANYTHING about the world. That way there's no "I came from this empire here" and it turning out due to the random generator that empire is in the other direction, or doesn't exist at all.

Sorry.

Just a b-t-w, I've decided to name my character Anguis. Mostly everything is done on my sheet, save for feat selections, equipment, and my familiarity with invocations (which are like spells you can cast on tap, if I'm correct?).

If my understanding of the warlock is correct, yes. Invocations are at will.

Update on the DM.

I'm currently sick with a head cold, which although I wasn't sneezing when I had the breakdown, the build up to it probably didn't help it. I'll either be better after tonight's rest in which case I'll post a follow up in the morning (it's about 10 pm here now), or later at the night depending on a. How much I sleep, and b. How better I get.

It's likely I'll get to DM this campaign though. I don't see much reason to drop it.

I got another warning. I can't continue on this forum, or I'm going to get kicked soon for good. I'm going to see if I can find another forum with a dice roller where I'm not constantly getting in trouble.

I have a forum up, but I have no clue how to make the Dice Roller mod I downloaded work. So for now this game is on hold, until I find another site.

Edit: found a site, but due to me having to learn a whole new DMing system, and overall new complexity of the mythweavers site, this game is shut down. I apologize for wasting your time.
